Bhutan Laya Gasa Trek

Bhutan Laya Gasa Trek is one of the most adventurous trek in this beautiful Himalayan country which also include 4 days of visiting places like Paro, Thimpu, Punaka and the adjoining basin which are some of the major tourist hub. The highest altitude on this trek would be roughly 3,840m from the sea level. This trek is regarded as one of the most beautiful trek of Bhutan which is sometime real harsh as well. During our trek if we are lucky enough we may even bump into the herd of Blue sheep, deer and different species of birds. The villages in Gasa along with its hot springs and Laya are situated on the north of Punakha and these places are devoid of pitch roads; so only way of getting there is by means of foot. Laya is the distant remote region located in the far northwest of the Gasa district. Layap ethnic group inhibit in this place and their population is about 750. These local people have their own language, lifestyle and discrete clothing style. This trek is ideal for all the nature admirers as well as adventure seekers as it gives you a loads of adreline rush. This trek in the remote Bhutan also grants us the opportunity to gain knowledge about lifestyle of the nomadic people who mostly depend upon of Yaks for their livelihood. This trial is also providing habitat for some of the medicinal herbs.
This mountainous Buddhist kingdom is among the few countries in the world which is still intact, and a true Shangri La for the trekkers who have deep interest in Buddhism, flora and fauna.
