Bibhaha Panchami (November-December)

Bibaha Panchami (November-December)this is one of  great festival celebrated by Hindus all over the world. This day is celebrated as it is the day when Lord Ramchandra of Ayodhya married goddess Sita of Janakpur. This festival lures thousand of worshippers from all over Nepal as well as from India to Janaki Temple of Janakpur. On the first day of the festival a large crowd sets out from the Ram temple carrying the image of Ram and proceeding to the famous Janaki temple. The following day a image of Sita is carried out to Ram’s side thus re-enacting the ancient wedding of divine couple. . During this period Jankapur city is decorated as the bride and the people of Janakpur are in jolly mood.
