What an amazing 10 days. I cannot recommend Devi's company enough. With our guide Ramesh, and porter Asook, we had the most wonderful time. Our accommodation was great, the food was delicious and our safety was their first priority.
Ramesh did his best to be sure we had the most beautiful view from each of our rooms, he knew many of the people at the tea houses which made for a very friendly atmosphere. He was sure to check in on us just enough to make us comfortable, and also give us our time to just be in the mountains.
We had a change of plans half way through which Ramesh accommodated with ease. We also chose to end one day early which was easily changed as well. Ramesh was waiting for us at the airport, and everything went smoothly. The hotel upon arrival is wonderful (Devi's hotel), as well as your stay in Pokhara. Everything exceeded my expectations.
If you are looking for a company who cares about your health and safety, and treats you like family, this is the company to go with. Thank-you Devi, Ramesh and Asook!
We had just came back from ABC trekking with the guide & porters from Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. Before the trek, I contacted a few tour agencies and we chose ANET because of the highly recommendation from our friends who trekked to ABC last year Sep. The itinerary was exactly fitted our requirement and the price was very reasonable. The owner, Mr Devi was attentive. He responded every single emails that i sent and answered all questions that i asked via what apps. Upon arriving to hotel in Kathmandu, we were welcomed and briefed by Devi personally. He arranged Ramesh as our guide, Milan and Raju as our porters. Ramesh is professional, passionate, energetic, knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. His sense of humour produced a lot of laughter and fun during the trek. Milan and Raju were very kind and friendly, they mixed around with us and shared their experiences to us. we felt warm, secure and truly satisfy to have Ramesh, Milan and Raju in our team. I highly recommend ANET as your first and only choice of tour/trekking agency in Nepal. My next target is to trek to Everest Base Camp, and definitely we will trek with ANET. Hope to see you soon, my Nepali friends!
My husband and I trekked the ABC Santuary Trek for 11 days and had an amazing time with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. Our guide, Ramesh and porter, Tilok were fantastic. They were professional, attentive and informative and made sure that were well taken care of, from holding our hands as we were trekking down ice slabs to paving our way to ABC after a snowstorm the night before covered the trail. They were also very fun to be around and excellent company for the trek -we could not have asked for a more incredible experience. The price we paid for the tour was also very reasonable compared to other quotes we got from other companies. Devi, the owner of the company was also very responsive to emails and took the time to personally get us from the airport and at the end of the trip, invited us over to his house for a home cooked meal. We could not have imagined a more memorable experience.
The trek to Annapurna Base Camp was perfect! Weather was good and the views from the base camp will stay with me forever. Being the only female (age 70) with 3 strong men could have been a challenge, but they were all very helpful. Our guide Kumar was there for me all the time! Haveing done the trip 23 times it seemed he knew every loose stone and every place you might bump your head! He has such a good sense of humour and he planned every day so well! Seems he knows the best places to stay and to eat. The two young smiling porters Raj and Rajo were also good company! Food was exellent, the washrooms were clean and we always had good beds and slept for more than 8 hrs! Devi Baral as a travel agent was exellent. He always replied immediatly on all the requests we had. He met us at the airport and took us to a good shop to buy equipment for the trek. After the trek we had several days in Pokhara and Kathmandu and Kumar turned up also in Kathmandu to help us find good places to shop. After more than 2 weeks in Nepal we left, knowing we would come back!
My wife and I came back from our Annapurna Base Camp trek two weeks ago. We had wonderful time for all of our 14 days we spent there. We went on this trip by ourselves and we organized a trek through Adventure Eco agency. We contacted couple of the agencies, but Devi's (company owner) responses were the most prompt and professional. He was also extremely flexible, as we made some major changes in our plans at the very last moment. During our stay in Nepal, Devi organized for us a guide (the best one), a porter, hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara and flight and cat to the start of our trek. Devi was waiting for us at the airport, late at night, and invited us to the dinner with his family in his home.. We specially want to highlight the excellence of our guide, Kumar Basnet, and our porter, Romesh. During our trek we had the opportunity to see many guides, but we found that our guide, Kumar Basnet was exceptional compared to all the others guides we have seen. Kumar is kind but very professional, exceptionaly knowledgeable and friendly, and he certainly made our trip so memorable. He is no doubt the great representative of the agency he is working for. If you are planning to go to Nepal, we strongly suggest you to ask for Kumar Basnet as a guide.
All in all, we are extremely satisfied with the service of Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. Recommended.
We struck gold when we chose Adventure Nepal Eco trek. After much searching for a trekking company we went with ANET based on the response to our questions and for giving us the most for our money. Disaster hit when out luggage was delayed for three days due to weather. Instead of canceling our trek Divi figured out a way to equip us with enough to get on the trail, picked up our luggage repacked it and sent a porter out to meet us on the trail. We had a great time and much of that was due to our guide Prabahit Rai who was everything you could ask for a guide. He clearly cared about our comfort and happiness and did everything he could to make out trip more enjoyable including teaching us a traditional game of Gods and Tigers along the way.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience on the Annapurna Base Camp trek thanks to Devi and our excellent guide Kumar. Devi answered our questions via email promptly and thoroughly. He made sure that we arrived safely from the airport and had a safe return at departure. Our guide, Kumar, is the most humble person. He not only served as our guide but took the time to get to know us personally and teach us Nepalese card games. We felt safe with him and knew that we could depend on him. He proved himself time and again over 12 days. We would hire him again without a second thought.
Mr. Devi Baral Thank you very much for your all help on our trek. We had wonderful time and enjoyed getting to know you very much. We appreciate all the information you shared with us about yourself and the trekking region. We also appreciate your flexibility with our route and transportation due to our tight schedule. Definitely we will recommend our friend in the coming future. Best of luck for your work. Definitely we stay on touch.
