Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

Ghorepani Poon Hill trek usually regarded as a hill station is placed at the height of 3120 meters in the Annapurna region. It is a typical tea house trek. This abode of god offers you outstanding view of sunrise among the labyrinth of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri, and last but not the least south Annapurna. This trekking route is easy and can be appealing to the family trekkers. After an half an drive from Pokhara you can reach to Birethanti which falls in Baglung district and is starting point of trek. As we cross we get to see terraced slopes, pleasing villages set up in the hills, rhododendron forest, and people of different ethnic group who have got a warm heart and are rich culturally.
Ghorepani Poon Hill trek will show you the Rhododendron flowers during the month of March & April, during this period the whole forest looks like a bride wearing a tiara of red and white color. From her we can see the fantastic view of sunrise.

Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01: We will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel, had time for rest up after your long flight, we will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your trekking
Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley:We will explore the Hindu temple at Pashupatinath (World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. We will explore Swyambhunath,also known as the Monkey Temple, Evening meeting with your trekking guide, have general conservation before Departure for Adventure trekking
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus. Whick takes 5/6 hours. Better to take fly during the monsoon season. Overnight in lakeside hotel
Day 04: Trek to Thikhedhunga 1575m. One hour drive to Nayapool by Car . We start our trek from Nayapool. After half hour walking we reach Birethanti, you need to show your permit at the National Park office in Huge village, where you will find many shops and basic standard Tea house with mix culture and traditions. Continue walking north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The path slightly climbs up to the Hille at 1475m. From here half hour Gentle climb to Tikhedhunga. Overnight at basic standard tea house.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2830m) we start our trek with steep climb to Ulleri at 2025m, A huge Magar village. Keep walking through forests of Rhododendron and Oak on the way to Bnthanti at 2230m, then we reach Nangethati. After one and half hour walk we reach Ghorepani. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek to Tadapani (2660) Early morning one hour hike to pun hill for Fantastic sunrise view. From here we will have sunrise view along with superb view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machapuchre (Holy mountain) Himchuli, Nilgiri and South Annapurna. Backto guesthouse for Breakfast. Then we will walk five and half hours to reach wonderful village of Tadapani. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (2000m) At first we walk one hour down hill to reach Baisekharka. Again steeply down hill, through Rhododendron forests and we reach Gurung village Ghandruk, where we can see typical rich Gurung culture & life style, also have a side trip around village and Buddhist Monastery. Stay at Guest house.
Day 08: Trek to Deurali danda at (3225m) At the beginning trail continues steeply down hill to newbridge, cross Modi khola and climb up to Landruk village, encounter with mix culture, costumes and lifestyles of local ethnic communities . Gentle flat trail follows to Tolka village for lunch stopping. After that we continue walking to Bhaisekharka and slightly climb through Rhododendron forests to reach Deurali danda. Stay at Guesthouse.
Day 09: Trek to Pokhara (925m) Early morning we will continue trekking having magnificent views of Annapurna Himalayan Range, keep walking to Pothana and Dhampus village. One hour steeply down hill to Phedi and catch a car back to Pokhara.
Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu Surface or flight.
Day 11: Departure to Airport
