Khopra Danda Trek

Overview And Highlights

The Khopra danda trekking trail is one of the newly open trekking routes in Annapurna region and connected with Annapurna base camp, walking route separated from Tadapani to Khopra Hill or you can say Khayer Lake (Tal) treks path too.

You pass through Rhododendron forest, Himalayan Bamboo magnificent of Himalayapanorama which includes Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna (I, II, III and south), Hiunchuli, Machhauchhare, Lamjung Himal and Nilgiri.

every year very few people know about this trekking trail, it is perfect for those who want walk non touristic trekking route in Annapurna region, also Ghorepani Poon Hill provides you 360 Degree sunrise views of Panoramic Himalaya and Ghandruk is a charismatic village which is adorned by vibrant Buddhist monasteries and houses made by slate and stones.

If you are looking for the perfect 10 days-long trek and with great views, this trek is a great choice. It combines the best of what Nepal has to offer: amazing mountain views, pastoral villages, and rice fields layered on top of each other, descending down into the valley. The best part is that so few people know about it.

The route follows a local trail that takes you down into the valley north of Ghorepani, before climbing up another ridge, known as "Khopra Ridge". Certainly, one of the best short treks in Nepal. The Khopra Danda trek (also known as the Khopra Ridge trek) is a great alternative to the more popular (and more crowded) Ghorepani trek, taking you higher still to another great viewpoint of the Annapurnas.

Wake early morning for an amazing sunrise over Dhaulagiri and the Annapurnas.Stay at a teahouse with one of Nepal's best panoramic views and Watch the yaks come to pasture.Descend through pastoral villages on your way down to Tatopani. Absolutely loved the Khopra danda trekking picked up from our hotel; we walked to the next one to collect the others on the trekking, nice way to see some of the streets and other hotels. The trekking was great from start to finish, great trekking guide great views of the panoramic Himalaya and places to visit and lots of time to see everything because we did 10 days trekking from Nayapul to Ghorepani and continue trekking to Khopra hill or some people said Khayer lake trekking as well.  If you are looking off- the- beaten trekking this is one of the best choices for you to explore in Nepal Himalaya

superb trekking!! best guide Kumar
