Everest Kalapathar Trek

Everest Base camp Kalapathar trek is considerably believed to be one of the most popular trekking trail which offers the magnificent vista and immense amount of adventure.  The trip get starts spectacular picturesque trip to Lukla and downhill trek to Dudh Koshi River.  This trip offers us the spectacular view of mountain panorama which includes the view point of Kalapathar (5.545m) from where you get a sneak peek of other 30 mountains along with Mt. Everest, Everest base camp and the furious glaciers.

Other than this you can also pay a visit to Buddhist monasteries, hear controversial statements about Yeti, meet pleasant Sherpa people and discover extraordinary mountain flora and fauna. While travelling through Khumbu glacier we are blessed with one of the most vivid landscape this mountain terrain has offered us.

Everest Kalapathar Trek Itinerary

Day 01: We will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer  to  hotel, had time for rest up after your long flight, we  will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your journey.after that we will  check your equipment and make easy the processing of other necessary  things  such as sagarmatha National Park Permits and  TIMS (Trekking information management system)

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley:We will explore the Hindu temple at Pashupatinath ( World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. We will  explore  Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, Evening meeting with your trekking guide,have general conservation before Departure for  Adventure trekking.

Day 03: Flight from KTM – Lukla: After having a 30 minutes lovely flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, The Everest base camp trek starts. From here keep walking to Phakding, which takes Three and half hours. On the way you will pass through Chaurikharka and Chhuplung overnight in Phakding (2640m).

Day 04: Trek to Namche (3435m)- At the beginning we slightly ascend to Jhorsalle, full day, we pass villages mix together with superb rhododendron (National flower of nepal), forest, pine trees. first glance of Everest (8848m) a sudden rise up to the Sherpa capital of Namche bazaar (3435m).

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche. After having breakfast keep walking to Syangboche. From here we will have views of Mt. Everest, Kusumkanggaru, Amadablam and Thamserku. A short hike to Everest view hotel, khunde and khumjung village. Back to Namche and look round. Where you will found, moneychanger, poolhall, policepoint and highest ATM in the world.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche ( 3890m) The trail leads you to Tengboche via sanasa and fungethaga, there are few Lodges for lunch stopping in edge of Dudhkosi (milk river), where you can see water driven prayer wheels. After that we continue climb to reach Tengboche with the stunning view of Gokyo Ri, Amadablam Thamserku and Islamd peak. The village has attraction of highest Monastery in the world.

Day 07: Trek to Pheruche(4250m) At the beginning walk down to Dibuche and cross Imja khola, where we will see the water falls, then continue keep climb to Pangboche for lunch. After lunch we keep walking to reach Pheruche. Here is the HRA office (Himalayan Resque Association), but only for general information from medical doctor. If we need.

Day 08: Acclimatization day. Full day we spent here or Dingboche and Chukung, either walk around for good views.

Day 09: Trek to Lubuche(4900m) At the first we need to walk half hour on gentle flat to reach Dhukla, then trail continues up the terminal moraine of the khumbu Glacier. For two hours and we need rest here to see memorial area before arriving Lubuche.

Day 10: Trek to Goraksep (5180m) we continue keep walking to Goraksep. Which takes three hours. We will have enough time to continue base camp. It takes 6/7 hour round trip. but we need to bring pack lunch with us and back to Gorasep. This is our final night to sleep in high elevation during the trek. Next day morning we reach at 5550m of Kalapather. viewing the Everest, Lotse, Nupse and Pumari without any climbing

Day 11: Trek to Dingboche(4400m)

Day 12: Dingboche trek to fungethaga (3230m)

Day 13: Fungethaga trek to Manju(2700m)

Day 14: Manju trek to Lukla(2800m)

Day 15:

Lukla to Kathmandu ( 1300m)
