Langtang Valley Trek word is derived from Tibetan word which means following ox. Though there are many myths regarding this name the most said one is that once the lama lost his ox and he followed the trail. It is believed the same trial is used for trekking too. Langtang is a nature paradise situated north of Kathmandu valley adjoining Tibet. Langtang known for snow capped mountains, moraine glaciers, pine forests, furious mountain rivers, rocky patches, green pastureland, mild climatic condition rare wild animals and friendly and generous inhabitants. This place is also acknowledged as the first Himalayan national park since 1971. The upper portion consists of snow crinkle, furious mountain rivers, and deep passes which are enveloped by the gigantic snow capped mountains.
As we enter this valley of glacier we are greeted by fluttering prayer flags and superb panorama of Langtang Lirung which dictate the whole horizon up to the Tibetan border. Langtang valley trek can be the ideal place to spot diverse range of birds and flowers of Nepal during spring. This trek also gives us the chance for climbing some moderate peaks and if you are interested in investing some more days you can explore some of the widespread glacier system. On our arrival back to Kathmandu will lead to the holy lake of Gosaikunda.

Langtang valley Trek Itinerary
Day 01: From Tribhuban International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel room. In the afternoon we will invite you to our office for briefing about the each day program. Today we will hand over your Langtang National Park Permits and TIMS.
Day 02: From early in the morning we will start a scenic drive to Dunche(2020m) via Trishuli Bazaar.
Day 03: We start the trek quite early, walking through the dense forest and watching the scenic vista of Lngtang Lirung we will trek to the beautiful village of Syabru gaon(2,250mm).
Day 04: Crossing the Bhote Koshi River which is followed by Gapoche khola our trail accent up slowly up to Rimche(2,400m). After having lunch over here we walk for few hours and conclude the day’s walk to Lama Hotel (2,470m).
Day 05: Trek up to Langtang village (3,430m) via Ghora Tabela, here headquarter of Langtang national park is located.
Day 06: We climb up slowly passing the dense forest and pasture land to Kyangjin(3,870m). Kyangjin has a vivid setting as it is surrounded by snow capped mountain from all side.
Day 07: Acclimatize at Kyangjin Gompa. Explore the area and enjoy the beauty it has to offer.
Day 08 :Trek back to Lama hotel via Langtang village, Ghora Tabela and Langtang Khola.
Day 09 :Crossing the beautiful village settled by Sherpa and Tamang and watching the panoramic vista of mountains we walk steeply downhill to Syabru Besi(1,480m)
Day 10: Take a bus drive for Kathmandu (9 hours).
Day 11: Departure for your onward flight.
