After two centuries, the fifth Dalai Lama LobsangGyatso transferred his administrative center to Lhasa and started building Potala palace.Tsetang located 196 km away from Lhasa is the third largest town of central Tibet.Tsetang is famously named as the cradle of Tibetan civilization; literally Tsetang means Monkey’s ground. This ancestral town has much uniqueness to serve which is not found in the other parts of the world.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to the Gonggar airport of Lhasa, (60km from the main city), meet our representative and transfer to the city and check in hotel. Afternoon free for acclimatization
Day 02: AM visit Potala Palace, PM visit Sera Monastery and Norbulinka
Day 03: AM visit Drepung Monastery, PM visit Jorkhang Temple & Barkhor street
Day 04: Morning drive to Tsetang and visit Samye Monastery en route, afternoon visit Yumbulakhang Palace & Trandduk Monastery in Tsetang, O/N in Tsetang
Day 05: Transfer to Gonggar airport and fly to Kathmandu or continue onward journey.
