What is Trekking ?

The best way to experience Nepal unbeatable combination of natural beauty and cultural riches is to walk through them. One can walk along the beaten trails or virgin tracks. Either way you are in for an experience of a lifetime. Along with forests of rhododendron, isolated hamlets, and small mountain villages, birds, animals, temples, monasteries and breathtaking landscapes, we will also encounter friendly people of different cultures, offering a fascinating glimpse of traditional rural life.Trekking is possible anytime of the year depending on where you are going. The popular seasons are spring and autumn. During winter, trekking is possible at lower altitudes. During the monsoon season, we will trek in the rain shadow areas north of the Himalayas like Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa. These place are out of reach of the rainclouds because of the high mountains and are unaffected by the monsoon. The best part about trekking in this season is that the routes are less crowded and if you happen to be a keen botanist, we will revel in lush vegetation as meadows blossom in full swing. To ensure quality, service, and safety it is advisable to make plans through a government Authorized (Adventure Nepal Eco Treks) lies in Thamel Kathmandu Nepal

2 to 4 days

Short  treks will bring you through terraced hillsides, charming line up roofed villages occupied  by  friendly local community, dense moss, rhododendron forests, and beautiful waterfalls with superb view of snow capped mountains. There are plenty of opportunities to see the supernatural mountain vista from the lower altitudes also, trekking to Kathmandu valley, Annapurna  Ghandruk circuit, Village trekking near Kathmandu and Pokhara  will be done in this short period.

7 days Trekking

Normally a week trek involves no difficult climbing or ascents to high elevation, and takes usually no more than a week, it is suitable for anyone. However, we should not think that loss of height means loss of interest. While  our more challenging treks get you closer to a small number of mountain ranges, the best one week trek is Annapurna/Poonhill. Also Helambu trekking, trekking on Kathmandu valley, and Everest Easy Trek can be done in this time frame. Similarly we  will also try the Shivapuri trekking, Nagarkot trekking, Siklis trekking, Annapurna Royal Trekking.

Two Weeks Trekking

This modest trek is more difficult than a leisure trek and is suitable for any walker looking for something a little more energetic. This moderate treks are longer (11-20 days), involve more walking up and down, and climb to higher elevations, where we  will be rewarded with close-up views of huge mountains. For a well-trodden route with good tea-house facilities, Annapurna Base camp, Best Everest View Trekking, Gokyo Lake, Langtang valley trekking a Jomsom Trekking, Muktinath Pilgrim trekking  will  be choices. For the camping trek, Upper Mustang trek is the best.

24 days Trekking

These treks climb to elevations of up to 500m and engage in some steep climbing. For a popular and fabulous trek, with the prospect of staying in well developed tea houses, the Annapurna circuit is a good choice. A gradual rise through a green river valley, with good tea house facilities, the Everest Base camp is a good chioce. The goal of this trek speaks for itself. To achieve it, we will cross a glacier, see Mt.Everest, a whole assortment of soaring peaks, and experience the rich Sherpa culture. For a real adventure in the wild, Makalu Base Camp, The Tibetan plateau of Mustang, Ultimate Everest Chola Pass Trekking, Mt Kailash Trekking, and  Manaslu can all be done.

One Month Trekking

One month treks  are for real adventures. They engage steep  ascents  to high elevation and one will need energy to complete one of these treks. It will be take 20-28 days to achieve the heart of the wildernesses that  they cross. Some of the treks have tea houses and others are organized on full camping expeditions.Trekking from Jiri to Everest Base Camp. Kanchenjunga (the third highest mountain in the world), the trek around Dhaulagiri,  and trekking high passes of the Everest regions. And the exception, the Simikot trek, which is very remote with a truly secluded culture (relatively a surprise for all).

More than thirty days Trekking

If you have enough time to trek in Nepal, we will combine treks, or we can explore the with the local sights more. We  can also try for Manaslu with Annapurna circuit, Jomsom to Upper Dolpo  trekking, Dolpo to Upper Mustang and can go for small peak climbing also. Trekking in Eastern and Western Nepal is also ideal for long treks in Nepal.

First time Trekking

Generally trekking in Nepal Himalayas is easy and follows good paths with well trampled routes. Nepal is most popular for trekking routes like Everest, Annapurna,  Langtang, and Manasalu. All are well supplied with tea shops and lodges, and the trails between these are well used and present easy walking conditions. We have short and easy to long and difficult treks. We will choose the trek per your time and fitness level. Normally our trekking allows plenty of time to comfortably complete the itinerary. To ensure that everyone is in good shape for the rise of the trails like Annapurna Base camp, Everest Base camp, Throng la pass, and other treks, all of our trekking itinerary include acclimatization days. This climb presents no real difficulty and should be within the capabilities of fit and active hill walkers. However, there are a couple of quite long trekking days and it will  be noted that trekking at elevation above 5000m is essentially tiring.

Trekking is physical but certainly not beyond the majority of people. The main thing is what kind of experience we want to have from the trekking. Do we want to reach the center of the great white peaks or so we want to pass through villages with many different  cultures. Do we want to get away from it all and ebb into the remote mountains or might we just wish to see a superb mountain view with little energy. Another consideration is how much time we  have and in what season we would  like to trek. 3 weeks to a month treks at higher passes often close from December to February due to extreme snowfall but 1 to 2 weeks trek will be done easily.

While we  are in trekking, walking through the trail after a few days, body and mind will become completely adjusted. So that, it seems this is all one ever meditating, with attention put on every step. Putting ourselves in powerful landscapes where for centuries holy men and pilgrims have lost and found themselves. The villagers of the Himalaya help reveal all that remains hidden during the every day subsistence. We are advising to start an exercise program. If you don't exercise regularly, start. Aerobic fitness is a key factor of a comfortable trekking experience. If your body is used to physical energy, we will be less likely to suffer from tiredness or injury. As many as six months before  our trek  (depending on your level of physical fitness), aim to start a program of regular physical activity for an hour per day, five days per week.
