Eco Trekking with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks

If there's one thing serious about Annapurna region trekking, it's overcrowded trekking during Autumn and Spring. More than ten thousand trekkers hike here each year. This puts some severe threats to cultural as well as environmental elements.

Hence, to maintain a balance between these elements with tourism, Adventure Nepal Eco Treks promotes sustainable tourism on every trek. We hire local trek guides and porters, which directly support the local economy. Furthermore, we also organize community-based trekking projects where trekkers participate in social functions.

Not to mention, we endorse a few organizations that promote sustainable tourism in Nepal. We also practice zero carbon footprint on our trekking. We discourage our clients from using Plastic water bottles, plastic wrappers, music players, and haphazard campfires.

Baggage and weight limit

If you want Khumai Danda Trek or Annapurna Base Camp Trek with us, you'll get a trekking porter for free. The Trek porter carries your backpack throughout the trek. But, a trekking porter carries only 10-12 kg of a trekker. You can share a porter among two trekkers and give the weight no more than 20-25 kg.

If the weight crosses the limit, you must hire a trekking porter and pay USD 25 daily.

Since most of the Annapurna region treks start from Pokhara, you may not need to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. If you wish to fly to Pokhara, you can only carry a 15 kg backpack for free. And for extra weight, you have to pay USD 1 for each kg.
