Overview And Highlights

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a spectacular out and back high altitude hiking route stretching through multiple environments in the Annapurna Sanctuary National Park. The trail starts off meandering through beautiful forest and terraces of rice paddies climbing all the way to Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4100m. The scenery quickly changes as you gain altitude from tropical forest to hiking in knee-deep snow among spectacular snow peaks.

This Nepalese adventure includes a 10-11 day trek on one of the best-loved sections of the Annapurna trail. Hike through the region's iconic rhododendron forests and enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks including Mount Fishtail and Annapurna South.

This is a guided trek suitable for every level—including beginners, families, and older age groups—and includes overnight stays in Gurung village teahouses or luxury lodges.Being a low altitude seated base camp, the risk of getting altitude sickness is faint, and first-time trekkers find this trek route perfect to kickstart their high-altitude trekking.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is popular moderate trekking trail in Annapurna region of Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp is one of the best options for trekking because it offer you fascinating view of mountains range arranged in a typical way that form accurately a loop.Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp also known as Annapurna Sanctuary trekking is utmost celebrated trekking holiday package in Nepal.

The major peaks of western fraction of enormous Annapurna Himal which includes Hiunchuli, Annapurna south, Fang, Annapurna, Gangapurna, Annapurna 3 and Machhauchhare are arranged in such a way that they accurately form a loop having a diameter of about 10 miles. This gives the false impression of presence of a grand auditorium in the hub. Trek offers you diverse terrains, culture and wildlife.

The trail includes Ghorepani, Poon hill and Ghandruk. Poon hill is a vantage point of the view of Annapurna and other ranges of mountain and for sunrise. You can welcome sun rise at early morning by taking hot cup of tea.

During the trip, at Ghandruk, culture and hospitality of Gurung community invites you for second visit too. Close look of Annapurna range from Poon hill is spectacular. Modi Khola cuts its way out in the south of this glacier basin in a slender gorge of 12,000ft deep which is facinating.

Further going south this gorge becomes even wider giving rise to the fertile valley where Gurung people live. Trek to fixed departure Annapurna Base Camp upper and middle portion Modi Khola grants trekkers some short trekking routes.

The Gliding farmlands and terrace rice farm, thick pine and bamboo forest make the adventure relaxing valley floor (12000-14000ft) which encounters ice walls and great peak can offer us comfy camping spots in good weather. You can reached to maximum height of 4190m, so you may got altitude sickness. In order to prevent from it you may carry medicine to and apply safety precautions.

Best time for trekking is from September to November during Autumn. It is the best season to trek in Nepal. Autumn offers clear blue sky and moderate temperature. Most visitors come to visit Nepal during this season as a result it gets crowed too. During winter Season it is quieter, and winter offers you with best visibility and clear sky. It will very cold and snow fall may take place.

So, you need to prepare well with appropriate packing. Similarly during the month from February to June during spring season is also best time to trek. In spring, the trail will bloom with red and white rhododendrons and many other exotic flowers found in this region and it is good time for botanists too.

In conclusion, it is extremely interesting, modulate high altitude among trekking routes in Nepal. This trekking adventure present the best of the region’s natural and cultural aspects.

Trip offer you with beautifully placed villages and pastureland alongside the scenic beauty of Himalayas is the most pleasing point of this trek. Trip provides opportunity of view most of the locations comfortably and relatively easy for people of all ages. For the trek, trekking experienced should not be required.

Winter brings cold weather at higher elevations but is a great time to visit Nepal for crystal clear skies. Treks in the lower Himalayan foothills are perfect in winter, and so are the jungles of Chitwan and Bardia in the south of Nepal.

Spring is a popular time to go trekking in Nepal, as temperatures climb steadily and the weather tends to be more stable. Trails are more crowded, however, and the skies can be a bit hazy at times. Spring features great festivals, including Holi in March and Nepalese New Year in April.

Summer is the monsoon season and brings hot, humid weather, with most trekking areas seeing cloudy skies and rain. Choose a trek in the “rain shadow” of the Himalaya at this time of year, such as Tiji festival in Middle May to June Upper Mustang or Nar Phu. The Yarthung Horse Festival takes place in June in Manang.

Autumn is the most popular trekking season because the weather is usually stable, temperatures are moderate, and skies tend to be clear. Since the weather conditions are at their best, the crowds are at their peak as well! Autumn is the best trekking season and has the big festivals like Dashain festival is the national festival of Nepalese people and celebrate during ten days. And this festival falls on October and Tihar is the second national festival and celebrate during 5 days and falls on November.

My wife and I have just returned from our third trek in Nepal in as many years. We did the Annapurna Base Camp trek in September 2017, Everest Base Camp trek in November 2018 and just recently, the Mardi Himal trek in December 2019. For each and everyone of our treks, we had used Adventure Nepal Eco Treks which is headed by an affable and friendly Devi Baral, he himself was still a guide a little more than 13 years ago. Discussions and planning of each trek was easy with quick replies and useful information from Devi via WhatsApp and/or email.

For each of the treks, we had the same guide, Ramesh Bhatta. We first met him on our first trek to ABC and we found him to be the near perfect guide. I generally do not like to have guides but Ramesh is an exception. Ever since, we have always requested for Ramesh for our treks and we will continue to do so. We found him to be very friendly, helpful, accommodative and yet non-obstrusive. Ramesh has a very good sense of determining the ability and needs of each of the trekkers in his group and is able to quietly and subtlely assist each and everyone. He is also very well acquainted and friendly with most of the teahouse managers and is therefore able to get the best accommodation and service for us at each stop. We felt that Ramesh was an important factor in the success of our 3 treks so far.

What can we say about the scenery, views, mountains that have not been already said? The mountains are certainly Nepal's precious heritage. Although the treks are hardwork, the tranquility, peace, serenity overrides all others. It is a humbling experience to be in the presence with the majestic mountains, in particular, our flitting existence and the endurance of the mountains. There is purity and grandeur. A cleansing of the soul. We return refreshed and reaffirmed in our beliefs.

We shall be back again this year in April 2020 for our 4th trek, this time to Gokyo via Cho-La Pass, our most formidable trek to date. Yes, we are traveling with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks, and yes, we shall reunite with our dear friend and guide, Ramesh Bhatta.

Hopefully another review shall be forthcoming thereafter. Happy trekking everyone!

Most Beautiful and Wonderful Treks In The World

15th Mar, 2022

We finished our Poon Hill trek with Kumar yesterday and had such an amazing time! We miss being in the mountains with Kumar already.

The walking itself was fantastic, such beautiful sights and the weather was great! It was a great workout and everything I had dreamed about experiencing. We had clear skies the whole time and had a stunning morning view of the mountains when reaching Poon Hill. Walking through the rice fields was beautiful too.

Kumar was the perfect guide, giving us information along the way and answering any questions we had about anything. He also taught us a few words in Nepalese and offered us traditional food to try . Kumar was a joy to be around and was really genuine and caring towards us, providing us with fruit and going the extra mile when both I and partner became a little unwell.

On finishing in Pokhara we shared a lovely last dinner and night with Kumar who also helped us arrange staying an extra night and our flights to return to Kathmandu.

The whole experience from start to finish with Devi and Kumar was brilliant, we will 100% use this company for our future return trips to Nepal and request Kumar who we now consider our good friend.

Amazing time with beautiful views! 2019

My father and I competed the Annapurna Base Camp trek last month; we came across Adventure Nepal Eco Treks after doing some research online and were not disappointed. From we arrived in Kathmandu the company was highly professional and attentive. Devi runs a great business. Our guide, Ramesh Bhatta, was excellent. His knowledge of the landscape and his ability to effortlessly assess situations and capabilities helped everything to run smoothly. Ramesh is exceptionally skilled and a genuinely great guy and the same can be said of our porter Chandra. They were a pleasure to spend time with we have remained in contact for the past year getting regular updates about treks and happenings in Nepal. My father and I agree that the trip could not have been any better and we definitely made the correct decision to travel with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks.

Wonderful experience November 2019

15th Mar, 2022

I would never forget this dramatic dawn on my way to the Annapurna Base Camp that changed my perspective about perfection (I am a perfectionist). I was chasing for the "perfect" sunrise moment at the base camp and walking so fast towards the blurry image of Annapurna South when I noticed that my fellow trekkers were struggling with sickness and extreme fatigue. It dawned on me that this was it, this was the defining moment that I had been waiting for.

But we stopped and took a lot of photos amidst our breathing difficulties and ecstasy. We walked a little more and stopped again, much to the frustration and anger of our guide (he was dancing merrily to keep his cool). We didn't care about our final destination anymore. I looked at my leader and she said, "Just enjoy the journey, Cekmi. The base camp can wait."

It was the best decision we had ever made. Had we walked faster and chased for the sunrise at the base camp, we would have missed all the beautiful "imperfect" moments along the trek. We made it to the final point anyway, missing the "perfect" golden nugget moment at the base camp, but we were glad we slowed down. We had our own fair share of "perfect" moments already along the way to ABC.

We found perfection in our own imperfection. And yes, it's the journey that matters after all. Always.

Trekking with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks

15th Mar, 2022

It was a challenging trek but luckily we had a guide which can speak well English. He explained along our trek, and stop talking whenever we looks bored. He help to carry one of our member backpack when she was exhausted with those uphills treks, removed the shoe when the others dare not moved when she was stuck on a slippery rock. Thank you very much Mr Ramesh for your guidance!

Others than him, we had 2 super duper strong portals, Mr Sunder and Suchen (Sorry if wrong spelling). I had observed others trekkers's portals, they wasn't so efficient as our 2 robust portals.

Mr Sunder was very cautious and careful all the time. He help us to cross the paths safely and make sure we trek the correct trails. He never leave anyone behind. He answered most of our questions along the ways. He can speak very good English. Overall, he is very caring and knowledgeable soft spoken man. Thank you Mr Sunder

Mr Suchen, was a quiet guy. He is young and very thin BUT, please don't doubt his strength. He can carry 3 baggages yet walked faster than anyone of us. Looking at him is like a dragonfly touches the water when he crossed the rocky ways and rivers. I really got a shock . So skillful! He gave us a helping hands whenever we need. Thank you Suchen.

Mr Devi Baral( humorous boss), very sorry for the headache that we gave. You never show us difficult faces Whenever we give you troubles! So good of you. Thank you so...much for treating us well along this trip. I had a unforgettable meals in Kathmandu (at your house). Overall, this trip was wonderful!!!

Excellent Annapurna Base camp Trekking

15th Mar, 2022

My partner and I had a wedding in Delhi, India to attend and decided to do a 2 week trek in Nepal of the Annapurna region. After some research and talking to friends we found this tour company and could not recommend a better company to use for trekking in Nepal. Our guide Kumar was exceptional and very attentive, he even taught me how to propose to my now fiancee in nepalese! Luckily the ring translated the question for me.

The trip was very enjoyable and at no point did we feel pushed beyond our abilities, it almost felt too easy even at 5400m crossing the pass. We also had other travelers comment on how good our guide Kumar and Porter Som where.

If you are considering trekking in Nepal, we highly recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and suggest asking for Kumar, although i'm sure their other guides are just as good.

Annapurna Thorung Pass Trek - Fantastic Adventure

15th Mar, 2022

My friend and me booked a trek to Annapurna base camp through Adventure Nepal Eco Trek. This was the first time we have booked through an agency or used a guide. Our usual mode of travel is to turn up at an airport and wing it, so we didn't really know what to expect! We were met at the airport by our guide, Kumar, who from the outset was fantastic. We were taken to sort out trekking passes etc before commencing the long drive to Pokhara where we stayed for the evening, starting our trek the next day.

The trek was amazing and took us through the most beautiful landscapes, which just got better the further we went. The scale and allure of these hills is so striking, and there is something very humbling about trekking into the shadow of Annapurna and Machapuchare. This is a stunning and diverse area which I would highly recommend.

Kumar was the best guide we could have asked for. He seemed to know every inch of this landscape and was clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about the mountains. Each day we would walk for between 4 to 8 hours, during which he taught us much about the hills, culture, history and wildlife of the area. The lodges we stayed in were all lovely, all with fantastic views (best appreciated first thing in the morning) and were friendly, relaxed and peaceful. The evenings were characterized by learning Nepali words (badly!), refueling on massive portions of freshly cooked food (another talent which Kumar was not averse to taking responsibility for), playing cards, sitting around log burners, and chatting with Kumar, other tourists and locals, all washed down with the occasional mustang coffee!

I did initially have reservations about using a guide, for no reason other than that I like to be responsible for myself. However, I can honestly say that this trip was made so much better for it. Kumar had ABSOLUTELY everything covered, and was always going out of his way to make sure that we had the best time we could. He was on duty from the moment we got up in the morning, and saw his job as covering every element of the trip, not just the trekking. He ensured that we had good rooms, good food, blankets, and that everything was done to the highest standards. This meant that we did not have to worry about anything for the entire trip!

I can honestly say that it was very hard coming to the end of this trip and readjusting to normal life after such a fantastic time in such an amazing place.

We spent our last couple of days in Pokhara reflecting on our experiences. It was a privilege to get to know our guide, Kumar, who had a fabulous sense of humour and is a naturally thoughtful and caring person, who we could honestly say we would trust with our lives! ;-) We would both highly recommend the organization and Kumar himself.

In terms of the organization, communication was good and we were supported in finding the best itinerary for our trip by Devi. We were also offered options and the flexibility to make sure that we got the most out of our time there, and that it suited our needs. We had some days remaining in Nepal after the trip, and the company (and Kumar) helped us to organize these as well and get the most out of the time we had left.

We have already been talking about coming back to Nepal and exploring some of the other regions, and I would have no hesitation in using Adventure Nepal Eco Trek again.

Fabulous Annapurna trek

15th Mar, 2022

My husband and I recently completed the Annapurna Base camp Trek and we had the time of our lives! It was an amazing, unforgettable, totally out-of-this-world experience. We chose Adventure  Nepal Eco Treks which had been recommended to us and it was the best decision we could have made. From start to finish everything was professionally organized by Devi Baral, the owner of the company who also personally welcomed us in Kathmandu. He took care of everything, from the airport pick-up and drop-off, the hotel in Kathmandu (excellent location in Thamel) to our internal flights and hotel in Pokhara, which made us feel at ease from the very beginning.

Our guide Tilak is the loveliest person we've ever met and the best guide we could have wished for. Together with our porter, Harka, they were an excellent team. We were told that we are "family" and that's really how we felt throughout the trek. Rather than just doing his job, Tilak went out of his way to make this an unforgettable experience. He took such great care of us, from the morning to the evening, making sure we have everything we need which made us feel really comfortable. He chose excellent lodges and managed to get us a private room every day (sometimes even with private bathroom!). He made sure we get the best food and after every meal we received a freshly prepared plate of fruits. When it got a bit colder, he got us extra blankets and bottles of hot water. He knew a lot about the local life and culture and especially the mountains - he could recite the exact height and location of every single mountain without even thinking! My husband had his birthday during the trek and Tilak even got him a cake and rum and we all cheered on his birthday, which was so sweet!

While walking, he always adjusted to our pace and made sure we made enough breaks, also we flexibly adjusted the schedule when needed. At times he insisted on carrying my day pack when it got a bit steep, to make the walking more comfortable for me. One evening Tilak taught me some Nepalese and I tried to teach him some German phrases in return. Tilak and Harka were also a good laugh, we had a lot of fun together. Harka was a very friendly and strong guide, I don't know how he could be so fast with the luggage on his back! Once we were back in Kathmandu, Tilak even came to pick us up from the airport and brought us gifts which was really sweet.

We were honestly sad when we had to say goodbye to them at the end of the trek. It was a trip of a lifetime which was already amazing thanks to the breathtaking landscape and scenery, but what made it really unforgettable is the people - especially our guide Tilak. I cannot recommend this agency highly enough! If you plan to trek in Nepal, whether it is ABC, Everest or a shorter trek, book with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and ask for Tilak!!

Unforgettable trip to ABC base camp!!

15th Mar, 2022

I finished Maanslu trek last month and just got time to review. I went trekking with Devi's company twice. First my ABC trek, with our guide Tilak, he is very helpful and fun to be with. So my 2nd trek to Everest Base camp, I requested Tilak as our guide again. This time i had a high altitude sickness on the way down from Samdo, Tilak carried me down till i got to the lodge. He managed everything for us till i got to Ktm. Every time we got da problem Tilak always say “no worries I am here i will help you with everything" I am very impressed. he is the most helpful person i ever met. I will definitely be back to Nepal to do another trek. Thanks Devi to send the best guide ever for my trip

Trekking with Adventure Nepal Eco treks Nepal July 2018

In Nov/Dec 2014 we had a wonderful trek to ABC arranged by Devi Baral, head of Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. At that time everything went so well, and we wanted to go back to Nepal. We are a couple from Norway 72 and 74 years of age. We ended up choosing Langtang as the trek of this year.

Our second trek with this amazing company!

My time in Nepal wouldn't have been the experience it was, if it wasn't for the people I met along the way!

Devi was amazing with responding to emails and arranging everything for us.

Kumar our guide went above and beyond. Throughout these reviews you can see one prominent factor and it is Kumar he deserves all the positive reviews and more!

He really goes above and beyond as a guide and is someone that you can really become friends with.

If you are reading these reviews, stop. Take the leap of faith, because it is what I did and knowing how lucky I got, I would do it again and again with these guys!

My friend and I came to Kathmandu without contacting any tour guide/operator before hand. Our trip started with getting bumped off our flight to Kathmandu because of the fuel situation at KTM.

I promise that this lovely company gives you the best bang for your buck. My 5 friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time trekking the Ghorepani-Ghandruk region with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. “Should be renamed AMAZING Nepal Eco Treks!!!”

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp was perfect! Weather was good and the views from the base camp will stay with me forever. Being the only female (age 70) with 3 strong men could have been a challenge, but they were all very helpful.

“With Kumar to Annapurna Base Camp - fantastic!”

15th Mar, 2022

Buen viaje!!!

Cmpamento Base Del Annapurna

15th Mar, 2022

I had one my most beautiful life experiences at Nepal. I did a combined trip: a volunteer stay at an orphanage, a trekking of 10 days at the Langtang national park, and some days of guided tour at Kathmandu, Lalitpur (Patan), Bhaktapur and Pokhara.

The tour organizer, Devi Baral, did a fantastic job, adapting everything (schedules, hotels, city visits...) to my requests without changing the total price of the adventure. He always had an optimal solution to any unexpected situation, and he is an extremely easy going person you can trust.

My stay at the orphanage has been a wonderful experience, and I decided to extend it for some days, and shorten the trekking. After the trekking, I decided to visit Pokhara, and then I needed to do several changes on the initial plan: hotel bookings, different bus schedules... but there was not any problem for Devi to change the plans several times.

“An unforgettable life experience” April 2012

16th Mar, 2022

My son and I were on a trip organized and managed by Devi. He quickly became a trusted, friendly face and a welcome sight. He was always punctual when meeting us whether it was picking us up from the airport to checking up on us. Each trip we went on, whether it was in Kathmandu, the mountains or the jungle, we were always in good hands (when we needed to be).

Unforgettable Holiday in Nepal june 2012

My husband and I used Adventure Nepal Eco Trek and we had wonderful time in Nepal. The team was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and took us to beautiful places in the Himalayas! We highly recommend using Adventure Nepal Eco Trekking company; we had unforgettable experience from Nepal! the views from Tadapani and further walk to Khopra hill amazing!!  walking through beautiful forest and hear different  type of birds singing  and feel part of heaven.

From USA Couple.

We decided to book the Manaslu Trek directly with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks (avoiding the cost of a Spanish agency). Devi responded promptly to our requests and questions and concerns.

“Manaslu Trek” April/May 2014

16th Mar, 2022

I recently returned from the Poon Hill Ghorepani Trail trek. I absolutely loved my 5 days in Nepal and Adventure Nepal Eco Treks made it so! From the beginning of my planning (only about two weeks in advance), the owner of the company Devi was very quick to tailor the trip to my needs.

“Great experience as solo female traveler on Poon Hill trek”

16th Mar, 2022

My girlfriend and I arranged our tour in Nepal with Adventure Nepal Eco Trek after reading the positive reviews on Trip Adviser. We were not disappointed. Devi the tour organizer was very accommodating arranging a tour to suit us. We stayed for 19 Days and saw Kathmandu, Pokhara, trekked through Annapurna and visited the Chitwan National Park. The trip was very well organized and Devi was very helpful with all our requests.

While Trekking in Annapurna our guide was Kumar Basnet. He was very knowledgeable of the area and we even had other guides and travelers asking him for information! We trekked for 6 days starting at Nayapool through Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Jhinu danda, Syaulibazar and then ending at Nayapool. The trekking was beautiful, the views from Poon Hill and Ban Thanti were both spectacular. The tea houses were both very comfortable too, with most having hot water, western style toilets and comfortable beds. The food was also very tasty and we had no problems with getting sick while trekking, although we were careful to take the necessary precautions (e.g. drinking boiled water, ensuring the food/tea was hot).

Devi was very helpful in helping us arrange our holiday to Nepal and ensuring we had an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this company to anyone travelling to Nepal.

Our Adventure Holiday to Nepal November 2012

16th Mar, 2022

Looking at the older reviews I'm not sure there is much I can add.

We found Adventure Nepal Eco Trekking Company after emailing a number of trekking firms. Most we ruled out straight way because their replies left us feeling we were going to be taken for ride. Devi's reply was professional from the start. We did find some other companies may have been a few dollars cheaper but right from the start we had a good feeling about Adventure Nepal Eco Trek.

Devi arranged a personalized 16 day trekking tour including Gokyo and Everest Base Camp. He arranged everything we wanted him too. We opted to exclude food and lodging from the package and this was no problem. (I'm told that high session greeting a room in the trekking lodges can difficult unless who have guide with the right connections.)

Our guide, Kumar, was great and easy to get along with. His knowledge of the mountains and trekking was the key to a safe and enjoyable trip. Even as the days went by we adjusted our plan to reflect the weather (snow falls had closed the Cho La pass) and own wishes and priorities.

I'm certainly happy to recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Trekking Company to any of my friends.

“Devi is laid back and happy to help rather than push” 12 January 2013

We did the Everest Base camp trek arranged by Devi Baral of Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and had a fantastic experience. The price came in several hundred euros better than any other operator we researched and was truly authentic experience.

“Fantastic trip and great value too!”

16th Mar, 2022

Our experience with this company has been marvelous. Our booking was clear, quick and effortless. The tour was exactly what was stated on the itinerary. But When we decided to make a last minute change to book flight back to Kathmandu instead of taking the bus, Devi has shown his robustness by quickly booking the flight without any hassle.

The overall service was very professional from start to finish. Devi and the driver were early at the airport for pick up. He followed up once during the the trekk to check up on our experience. Any questions and inquiry was quickly answered.

The guide has been an amazing part of our trekk and no less professional. Probahit started the trekk by showing his guide certificate, letting us know our rights to complaint, which was far from needed! Probahit was proactive during the trekk, providing snacks, fruits and any help that our body language suggests. He went extra mile to ensure our trip is pleasant. Through out the trekk, probahit provided a thorough commentary on the culture, geography and history of the place.

I highly recommend this company.

“Professional, reliable, Amazing!” january 2013

16th Mar, 2022

Had a great time in Nepal. Thanks to Devi's organization skills! Everything was sorted out quickly and tailored to our needs. The prices were very reasonable and the guides are very professional. It was so good it makes us want to come back to Nepal again and do other treks! Our guide prabahit was very professional and was very nice to us, I was wearing the wrong trekking gear and he offered his to me so I can be comfortable throughout the trek :)

Devi offers pick up and drop off services to airport which is very helpful when arriving in a foreign country, this is one of the reasons why we choose this company and the whole trip was better than expected!!

Last night in Kathmandu Devi offered to take us out to dinner which was great sharing our stories with him and giving him feedbacks, of course all good ones!

Will definitely recommend it to everyone and you won’t be disappointed

“Totally awesome. Highly recommend it”

16th Mar, 2022

Where do we start, excellent communication and organized trip from Devi, our trip changed due to adverse weather at Lukla but our amazing guide Kumar and Devi redirected us onto the Poon Hill trek, this turned out to be truly fabulous.

“Phenomenal doesn't come close:)”

16th Mar, 2022

Just completed 9 days of solid trekking with my husband, friend and adult daughter. Devi was truly professional from my initial enquiries many months ago answering emails promptly no matter how simple the question. The true value was in our guide Kumar who was patient beyond expectation ( my friend had a bad back) , informative and entertaining ( regular card game each evening) and was responsive to the very different needs of those in our group. We had the rooms with the best views in every tea house as Kumar would phone ahead or send our young, energetic and enthusiastic porters Ramesh and Bidour. I would recommend that 10 or 11 days of actual trekking for this route would enable the return to be better paced as well as giving some flexibility for changes in weather which is the uncontrollable. Truly value for money- and it was not a lot of money by any measure

“Trek to Anapurna Base camp” March 2013

16th Mar, 2022

I strongly recommend Devi and its company Adventure Nepal Eco Treks to organize your trekking, and more broadly your stay in Nepal.I chose this company based on the fast, efficient and accurate email exchange I had with the owner, Devi Baral. Devi replied promptly and clearly too all my questions and comments. The price of the stay was also very competitive.

Wonderful time in Nepal with ANET

16th Mar, 2022

I returned last night from a six day trek through the Annapurna region with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. I had to arrange the trip at very short notice and Devi could not have been more helpful. He even offered to collect me from my apartment in Kathmandu and did everything to make things nice and easy. His trekking company really does deserve its perfect feedback rating. During the trek itself, my guide - Kumar Basnet - was invaluable. A lovely guy, very knowledgeable, unassuming, always ready to help. In all a wonderful experience and a great way to free the mind (if only for a week).

“Superb trek, excellent service” 2013 April

16th Mar, 2022

My wife and I came back from our Annapurna Base Camp trek two weeks ago. We had wonderful time for all of our 14 days we spent there. We went on this trip by ourselves and we organized a trek through Adventure Nepal Eco Trek agency. We contacted couple of the agencies, but Devi's (company owner) responses were the most prompt and professional. He was also extremely flexible, as we made some major changes in our plans at the very last moment. During our stay in Nepal, Devi organized for us a guide (the best one), a porter, hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara and flight and cat to the start of our trek. Devi was waiting for us at the airport, late at night, and invited us to the dinner with his family in his home... We specially want to highlight the excellence of our guide, Kumar Basnet, and our porter, Ramesh. During our trek we had the opportunity to see many guides, but we found that our guide, Kumar Basnet was exceptional compared to all the others guides we have seen. Kumar is kind but very professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, and he certainly made our trip so memorable. He is no doubt the great representative of the agency he is working for. If you are planning to go to Nepal, we strongly suggest you to ask for Kumar Basnet as a guide.

All in all, we are extremely satisfied with the service of Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. Recommended.

“Excellent trek, great organization, superb guide”April 2013

It is without hesitation and my pleasure to HIGHLY recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. From the moment I first contacted Devi, I felt confident our trek would be handled professionally, honestly, and with care to all details

“5 Star experience from ANET”

16th Mar, 2022

I had a 2-week window to trek in Nepal and discover the Mustang Region. Our group of three hit a "home-run" when we signed up for the trek with Devi Baral Trek Operator, Kumar (Guide), and Ramesh (Porter).

“Mustang Trek October 2013”

16th Mar, 2022

We struck gold when we chose Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. After much searching for a trekking company we went with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks based on the response to our questions and for giving us the most for our money. Disaster hit when out luggage was delayed for three days due to weather. Instead of canceling our trek Devi Baral figured out a way to equip us with enough to get on the trail, picked up our luggage repacked it and sent a porter out to meet us on the trail. We had a great time and much of that was due to our guide Prabahit Rai who was everything you could ask for a guide. He clearly cared about our comfort and happiness and did everything he could to make out trip more enjoyable including teaching us a traditional game of Gods and Tigers along the way.
