4 nights 5 days Bhutan Tour Overview

A small landlocked country with a population of less than a million, and an area of 38,394 sq. km, Bhutan is a wonderland of surreal landscapes, ancient Buddhist Monasteries, and withered fortresses.

The most popular Tiger's Nest (Taktsang) monastery, Punakha Dzong, Gangtey Valley, and Zuri Dzong Hike are the country's major tourist attractions. Thus, the 4 nights 5 days Bhutan Tour offers you the exquisite experience of preserved Buddhism culture and enriched natural aesthetics.

While flying to Paro airport, the only international airport in Bhutan, you'll see the world's tallest mountains like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Kanchenjunga. Furthermore, unlike other countries' capital, Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, is so neat and serene that you'll be relieved with every breath of fresh air. You'll be far away from the hustling and bustling while on tours of Bhutan.

Those who adore the Himalayas are absolute lovers of Bhutan. Whether it's a 4 nights 5 days Bhutan Tour or even the Bhutan Family Tour and Luxury Package, the wholesome cultural cum natural aesthetic of the country offers an unmatched experience. The shimmering rivers, a few sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhism sites, beautiful valleys, and homely ethnic people here elevates your Bhutan Tour experience.

Bhutan Tour has now become so popular among different types of travelers. However, there are a handful of good things for which Bhutan is growing as the best tour hub in South Asia. Here we present a few valid reasons why 4 nights 5 days Bhutan Tour Packages can be an ideal tour for you individually or even as a family

High value low impact tourism

The sustainable tourism of Bhutan offers extensive amenities and services whilst keeping the impact on the environment deficient. In Bhutan, you, as a traveler, must spend around USD 200-250 each day. On paying this, you'll get the most out of it. You'll get a tour guide, private vehicle driver, three best meals daily, and three-star accommodation.

Moreover, Bhutan treats travelers as VIPs, which other countries barely consider.

Because of its low-impact efforts, they've kept every natural and cultural heritage as intact as they were. In this way, a visitor like you in future can experience the timelessness of every moment you witness in Bhutan.

At least a festival every month

Due to the affluent cultural richness of Bhutan, the people here celebrate at least one festival each month, some major and some regular. Conclusively, almost every festival centers around celebrating Guru Rimpoche, the great who instituted Buddhism in Bhutan.

Thimphu Tshechu Festival is the grand festival celebrated across Bhutan. This five-day festival can be an ideal cultural junket for you while on a 4 day Bhutan Tour. But make sure you'll plan your Bhutan Tour per the Bhutanese calendar.

They celebrate this festival from 11-15th on the eighth month of their calendar, either in September or October.

If you're buying Bhutan 4-day tour package from us, make sure that you select the date around September 24, 2023. You'll get a fantastic window to experience the enriched cultural celebration of the Thimphu Tshechu Festival.

Other prominent festivals like Gangtey Tshechu, Thangbi Mani, and Jomolhari Mountain Festival are between September 27 and October 14.

The elegant representation of Bhutanese Culture

Bhutan has preserved its culture like no other country. Whether attire or textiles, paintings, or ancient sculptures, each material resembles profound history and heritage. Thus, your 4 days Bhutan Tour offers you the exquisite taste of timeless Bhutanese culture.

The most common way of experiencing Bhutanese culture is by wearing their attires and buying handicrafts and art as souvenirs.

While participating in Bhutanese festivals, one best way to experience a culture is by buying and wearing Gho and Kyra. It resembles an honor to their culture, and also you'll participate as a local rather than a traveler.

Places you’ll visit on your 4 days Bhutan Tour

Dochula Pass

Dochu La, at 3100 meters, is among the highlights of your 4 night 5 days Bhutan Tour. You'll not mainly visit here, but it's en route to Punakha. It's a beautiful Himalayan pass that often gets covered in snow in Winter and houses 108 memorial chortens. The Druk Wangyal Lhakhang temple sits adjacent to this 108 memorial chortens.

Gangkhar Puensum, a 7,570 meters tall mountain, Bhutan's highest mountain and the world's highest unclimbed mountain, is visible from this pass.

In December, this palace hosts the Dochula Druk Wangyel festival every December 13. So, if you're planning for the Bhutan Tour in December, ensure you'll attend this festival at Dochu La.

Punakha, once the country's capital city, is a popular place you'll visit during the 4 days Bhutan Tour. At 1200 meters altitude, this place gets warmer on Winter days and hotter on Summer days.

The red and white rice terrace farmlands in the valley with two major rivers, Pho Chu and Mo Chu, make the landscape lively.

While sightseeing, you'll visit Pungthang Dewachen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness) in this city. This palace also holds historical value in Bhutan as it held the first coronation of the first Bhutanese King.

Paro Taktsang

Paro Taktsang, known as Tiger's Nest, is the monastery on the cave. It's a major highlight of the Bhutan Tour. This monastery has a unique value in Bhutanese Buddhism as Padhmasamvava meditated in the cave where this monastery sits.

To reach here, you'll hike from Paro for five hours, two ways. The geographical standing of this monastery seems scary and a wonder of art. Mostly, the sanctuary gets covered in clouds past midday. However, you'll hike here early to get the best glimpse of Tiger's Nest.

Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan. Despite not having an airport, you'll take the flight to Paro airport to reach here. The best thing about Thimphu is that it sits at an altitude of 2,248 meters, making it the 5th highest-altitude seated capital city of any country.

The spectacular scenery and rich culture of Thimphu are what makes it stand as a prime visitor site in the country.

Trashi Chho Dzong in Thimphu is worth a visit to learn about the history of the Bhutanese people and the country. Paro Dzong's visit gives you insight into unblemished Bhutanese architecture.

Other popular places in Thimphu are National Memorial Chortens, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and Simtokha Dzong.
