Muktinath pilgrim trekking is one of the best and most popular treks in Annapurna region. This sacred place is situated at the height of 3800 m in mustang district about 18 km northwest of Jomsom. It is well said that, once you visit this temple (Mukti=Nirvana, Nath=God) all your sorrows, miseries and grief will vanish. The pagoda shaped temple is devoted to lord Vishnu. 108 water spouts are situated on the wall of temple which is believe to discharge holy water. It is believed that everybody should visit this temple after completing the four Dhamas of India. A nearby Jalwa Mai temple offers a spring and a timeless flame nourished by natural gases.There are mainly two modes to get here. You either can take flight from Kathmandu via Pokhara to Jomsom (2740m) and 7 to 8 hours will lead to Muktinath. Or trek for 7 to 8 days from Naya pool viewing the panorama of great Himalayas of Annapurna (8091m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) and passing through worlds the deepest gorge of kali gandaki.
This trek offers great view of Himalayas. Jomsom is the major portion of Annapurna region. This holy place offers you grand accommodation facilities where you can enjoy the eternal beauty of nature which includes magnificent view of breathtaking Nilgiri (7400m).
From Tribhuvan International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel room. In the afternoon you can roam around Thamel and we will invite you to our office for briefing about the each day program
After having breakfast we will do some sightseeing which includes Pashupatinath Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath.
Take a flight to Pokhara. After that you will explore Pokhara roam around lakeside. Overnight at hotel.
After having breakfast we will drive to Nayapul. From here our trek starts. Today we will halt our trek in Tikhedhunga (1,575m).
Passing the pasture land and field cultivated with barley and miller watching the mind blowing vista of Annapurna south from Ulleri village we will trek up to Ghorepani (2,850m).
Trekking continuously to the Magar village of Sikha and passing some suspension bridge we halt the day’s walk at Tatopani (1180m).
Walking down the Kali Gandaki River situated below the deepest gorge the trail lead us to the village of Ghasa.
Continue the day walk to Lete Khola reaching to Lete village from there we will see Annapurna for the first time. Further walk to Larjung village and stay the overnight
Crossing the Tukuche at 2,590m continue the trek to Marpha village (2,690m) which have some beautiful monasteries.
Prolong your trek along the valley side. The appealing trail leads to wonderful looking village of Kagbeni (2,825m)
Climb uphill from Kagbeni and re-join to the direct leading path Khingar (3,200m). The trail continues through the village of Jarkot, prolong the walk to Muktinath.
Since Muktinath is a holy place, pay visit to it early in the morning. Return back to the hotel and start today’s trek to Jomsom (2,710m)
Take a flight back to Pokhara. Again, take a flight to Kathmandu.

Yes, you can get it in Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. As you arrive to airport fill the form and proceed to the visa line. You have to pay 30US$ for 15 days of visa from the day of issue, 50US$ for 30days and 150US$ for 90 days of tourist visa. For this you have to bring two passport size photos.
There are enough airline companies operating daily flights from Middle East of Kathmandu. Kathmandu only has got only international airport in Nepal.
