Bhutan officially known as the Kingdom of Bhutan is a small landlocked country situated in South Asia in the eastern end of Himalaya with an area of 18,000 sq miles. Until 17th century Bhutan existed as patchwork; is unified by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal who was from Tibet and fled here ultimately transferred into Bhutanese personality. Bhutan is bordered by India in south, east and west and China from North. The capital city of Bhutan is Thimpu which also the largest city in the entire kingdom.
From 2007, Bhutan has transferred itself from absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy. The topography of the Bhutan ranges from subtropical plains in the south to Sub alpine Himalayas in the north.
