Bhutan is the only Kingdom in the world that practices Vajrayana Buddhism as the state religion; covers 65% of the total land area with forests and is marked as one of the world’s diversity hotspots along with Amazon Rain forests and Serrengiti plains of Africa. Often called as the last Shangri La, Bhutan is sandwiched between the most densely populated and bigger countries like China and India. Bhutan being isolated from the rest of the world for many centuries, the history of today’s Bhutan does not go beyond 50 years.Only from 1960’s the feudal system of Bhutan has opened itself to the outer nations. From then onwards Bhutan has no turning backs it has economically developed and built infrastructures such as roads, schools and hospitals. Wonderful Manaslu Trekking!

I have been using Adventure Nepal Eco Treks since 2011 for regular treks/visits to Nepal and also for trekking in Tibet and Bhutan Devi Baral and my most recent guide Kumar Khadka have always been very professional and they have always been very helpful and responded to my needs. Also Kumar Khadka is not only Guide but also he is professional cook because every day He went to kitchen and cooks our dinner and we had always delicious food during the trek.
