Pikey Trek Incredible!! November 2018
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
It’s was my 2nd trip to Nepal this year with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks after our Mustang trek in May and after recommended by our guide, Kumar we decided to back with them again to this new trail - Pikey Trek.
This new trail is worth to go now with less tourists with the Sunrise and Sunset views was so beautiful. At Pikey peak you are able to view Himalayan range of Mt Everest, Annapurna, Lantang and etc.
As this is the hometown for our guide, Mr Kumar, he know the in out of the trail and where is the best view of the trails.
This will be another memorable trip for us this year with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks.

I and my friends had amazing trip at Nepal with .Nepal Eco Treks. On 6-16 April 2018. We went to trekking and sightseeing around. Our goal was to see Manaslu and larkya pass path. This trip was perfectly managed by knowledgeable person "Devi Baral " and our great and experienced guide "Kumar". Kumar and 2 porters (Rashu and Som) took care of us very well, hotel booking, and food ordering, and providing useful information. The spectacular view of Manaslu was touching our heart and still be one ofthe great memorable trip for us. Thank you to Adventure Nepal Eco treks to deliver good service. Hope we use your service again

We had an amazing week in Nepal perfectly organized by Devi Baral Adventure Nepal Eco Trek and trek with a funny and experienced guide Tilack. All flights and accommodation have been booked in advance and luckily we had a great weather so trekking was a real fun. We have been really good looked after, Tilak made sure we had a nice meal, fruits and warm tea ready after a long trek. We managed to get an amazing view of Maanslu over the larkya la pass. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have stress less holiday in Nepal. Ask with Adventure Nepal Eco treks
Manaslu trek with best Guide Tilak ever

I finished Maanslu trek last month and just got time to review. I went trekking with Devi's company twice. First my ABC trek, with our guide Tilak, he is very helpful and fun to be with. So my 2nd trek to Everest Base camp, I requested Tilak as our guide again. This time i had a high altitude sickness on the way down from Samdo, Tilak carried me down till i got to the lodge. He managed everything for us till i got to Ktm. Every time we got da problem Tilak always say “no worries I am here i will help you with everything" I am very impressed. he is the most helpful person i ever met. I will definitely be back to Nepal to do another trek. Thanks Devi to send the best guide ever for my trip
Really well organised. Kumar

The reason we booked was because after emailing upwards of 20 companies Devi filled me with the most confidence. This was a good choice as Devi responded quickly with excellent detailed answers to all our questions. Then from arrival our guide Kumar and Devi were brilliant. Taxis and travel were all organised well, help with renting equipment etc. From then on we were spoilt by our guide Kumar and Som our porter, both went above and beyond as it was the off season. They cooked washed veg and made us feel so safe and well looked after.
Overall without going into huge detail. The company was great the Guide and Porter were way better than we ever could have imagined.
Thanks Devi, Kumar and Som

Unforgettable trip to ABC base camp!!
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
My husband and I recently completed the Annapurna Base camp Trek and we had the time of our lives! It was an amazing, unforgettable, totally out-of-this-world experience. We chose Adventure Nepal Eco Treks which had been recommended to us and it was the best decision we could have made. From start to finish everything was professionally organized by Devi Baral, the owner of the company who also personally welcomed us in Kathmandu. He took care of everything, from the airport pick-up and drop-off, the hotel in Kathmandu (excellent location in Thamel) to our internal flights and hotel in Pokhara, which made us feel at ease from the very beginning.
Our guide Tilak is the loveliest person we've ever met and the best guide we could have wished for. Together with our porter, Harka, they were an excellent team. We were told that we are "family" and that's really how we felt throughout the trek. Rather than just doing his job, Tilak went out of his way to make this an unforgettable experience. He took such great care of us, from the morning to the evening, making sure we have everything we need which made us feel really comfortable. He chose excellent lodges and managed to get us a private room every day (sometimes even with private bathroom!). He made sure we get the best food and after every meal we received a freshly prepared plate of fruits. When it got a bit colder, he got us extra blankets and bottles of hot water. He knew a lot about the local life and culture and especially the mountains - he could recite the exact height and location of every single mountain without even thinking! My husband had his birthday during the trek and Tilak even got him a cake and rum and we all cheered on his birthday, which was so sweet!
While walking, he always adjusted to our pace and made sure we made enough breaks, also we flexibly adjusted the schedule when needed. At times he insisted on carrying my day pack when it got a bit steep, to make the walking more comfortable for me. One evening Tilak taught me some Nepalese and I tried to teach him some German phrases in return. Tilak and Harka were also a good laugh, we had a lot of fun together. Harka was a very friendly and strong guide, I don't know how he could be so fast with the luggage on his back! Once we were back in Kathmandu, Tilak even came to pick us up from the airport and brought us gifts which was really sweet.
We were honestly sad when we had to say goodbye to them at the end of the trek. It was a trip of a lifetime which was already amazing thanks to the breathtaking landscape and scenery, but what made it really unforgettable is the people - especially our guide Tilak. I cannot recommend this agency highly enough! If you plan to trek in Nepal, whether it is ABC, Everest or a shorter trek, book with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and ask for Tilak!!
Amazing Trek to Annapurna
Nepal

This trek was truly a life changing experience - right from the start until the very end. Throughout the trip Devi at Adventure Nepal Eco Treks provided us with a first class service which really did make the difference. We (x2) arrived in Kathmandu without a trek booked as the trip was a last minute decision and we felt better deals could be found if we arranged ourselves. However, once in Kathmandu it becomes difficult to distinguish between the good and bad amongst the many operators touting for business.
In the end I opted to go and see three different companies based upon their reviews and suitably for a flexible trip (we had planned to do both circuit 1 and 2). Of the three I can definitely say that the honest and truthful approach provided by Devi made all the difference - he actually advised us against doing the 2nd circuit as it had changed so much...we should have listened to him! He also had lots of other useful information and above all I found him very genuine, which cannot be said for others.
We agreed a fair price for a guide and porter and enjoyed a memorable trek that we were able to undertake at our own pace, which was important to us as first time trekkers. We initially paid for 21 days to do the full circuit but with aching limbs and a face full of car fumes on the 2nd part, we soon decided to cut it short. Devi completely understood and agreed to give us a refund for the days we didn't use. This was really exceptional service and I do not believe any other operator would have done this.
I should also point out that we both fell sick before starting the trek and Devi allowed us to delay starting until we were 100% better, again with no cost.
Overall, I would recommend anybody to do this trek as the experience is unforgettable! With Devi on your side you are able to tailor your requirements to suit needs!
Fantastic!

Amazing experience - Everest Base Camp
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
I had a truly unforgettable experience trekking to EBC with Nepal Eco Treks. As I was a beginner trekker and also going solo from the UK, I was initially quite nervous! I had learnt about the company via tripadvisor and was not disappointed. It was very easy to contact Mr Devi (the boss) to organise/enquire about the trip via e-mail or whatsapp. Mr Devi always replied promptly and was very helpful.
On arrival in Kathmandu, I was picked up by Ramesh, our patient, kind and funny guide and taken to the hotel. The next day I met with two other ladies from Malaysia who also had the same itinerary as myself and flew into Lukla! The whole trip was very well organised as Ramesh and our two strong and friendly porters (Lukpa and Amkumar) supported all three of us in our journey.
I would definitely recommend this company and will be using this company again on my next trip to Nepal!
Fabulous Annapurna trek
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
My friend and me booked a trek to Annapurna base camp through Adventure Nepal Eco Trek. This was the first time we have booked through an agency or used a guide. Our usual mode of travel is to turn up at an airport and wing it, so we didn't really know what to expect! We were met at the airport by our guide, Kumar, who from the outset was fantastic. We were taken to sort out trekking passes etc before commencing the long drive to Pokhara where we stayed for the evening, starting our trek the next day.
The trek was amazing and took us through the most beautiful landscapes, which just got better the further we went. The scale and allure of these hills is so striking, and there is something very humbling about trekking into the shadow of Annapurna and Machapuchare. This is a stunning and diverse area which I would highly recommend.
Kumar was the best guide we could have asked for. He seemed to know every inch of this landscape and was clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about the mountains. Each day we would walk for between 4 to 8 hours, during which he taught us much about the hills, culture, history and wildlife of the area. The lodges we stayed in were all lovely, all with fantastic views (best appreciated first thing in the morning) and were friendly, relaxed and peaceful. The evenings were characterized by learning Nepali words (badly!), refueling on massive portions of freshly cooked food (another talent which Kumar was not averse to taking responsibility for), playing cards, sitting around log burners, and chatting with Kumar, other tourists and locals, all washed down with the occasional mustang coffee!
I did initially have reservations about using a guide, for no reason other than that I like to be responsible for myself. However, I can honestly say that this trip was made so much better for it. Kumar had ABSOLUTELY everything covered, and was always going out of his way to make sure that we had the best time we could. He was on duty from the moment we got up in the morning, and saw his job as covering every element of the trip, not just the trekking. He ensured that we had good rooms, good food, blankets, and that everything was done to the highest standards. This meant that we did not have to worry about anything for the entire trip!
I can honestly say that it was very hard coming to the end of this trip and readjusting to normal life after such a fantastic time in such an amazing place.
We spent our last couple of days in Pokhara reflecting on our experiences. It was a privilege to get to know our guide, Kumar, who had a fabulous sense of humour and is a naturally thoughtful and caring person, who we could honestly say we would trust with our lives! ;-) We would both highly recommend the organization and Kumar himself.
In terms of the organization, communication was good and we were supported in finding the best itinerary for our trip by Devi. We were also offered options and the flexibility to make sure that we got the most out of our time there, and that it suited our needs. We had some days remaining in Nepal after the trip, and the company (and Kumar) helped us to organize these as well and get the most out of the time we had left.
We have already been talking about coming back to Nepal and exploring some of the other regions, and I would have no hesitation in using Adventure Nepal Eco Trek again.

Amazing Adventure with the Best Tour Company and Guide
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
If you are searching for a tour company in Nepal, your search can stop here! My wife and I visited in February of 2017 and completed the Everest View Trek. Devi was amazing to work with......he was patient, responsive, and incredibly helpful for over 2 years as we communicated back and forth to plan our adventure. The trip was planned out flawlessly. From the pick up at the airport to the trek itself.....everything was taken care of and went very smoothly. Devi's hotel is very nice and is in the heart of Thamel. Thamel is a great place to be with plenty of shops, dining, and sight seeing....most everything is in walking distance! Devi was very welcoming and was there throughout our stay to help with anything that was needed.
Our Everest view trek lasted 6 amazing days and was an adventure of a lifetime. Our guide, Kumar Khadka, was the best guide we could have possibly had. He made the trip even more special then it already was. Our trip started with a flight into Lukla on Goma Air. Devi, booked us on Goma Air which was an excellent choice in airline. For those of you that are nervous about the flight into Lukla, Goma air has new airplanes. We were very thankful that Devi used Goma air....especially when we saw some of the other airlines planes. (this alone would be a compelling reason to go with Nepal Eco Trekking) We felt completely safe during our flights!!!!! Also, do not hesitate to visit Nepal in February. It got a little chilly at night, but during the day we were in t-shirts. There are barely any crowds in February, which meant the flights weren't over booked, we had tea houses to ourselves, and the trails were empty. We had the whole park to ourselves. The skies were blue and we had mind numbing views of the Himalaya.
Kumar was AMAZING through out our trip. We had a ton of fun getting to know Kumar and he was very attentive throughout our entire trip. He showed us the sights, taught us some Nepali, and was always making sure we were comfortable. We saw other trekkers that had "guides" that would basically disappear once they reached their destination for the day. Kumar was attentive to us from the moment we got up to when we turned in for the night. The tea houses that we stayed in were all very nice. There are many teahouses along the trek, but I felt that we always stayed at the nicest ones. Also, Kumar's itinerary for the trek was great! Rather then stay in Phakding for the first night of the trek, we continued on to Benkar....which made the next day quite easier AND Benkar has beautiful views of the Mountains and River....which you don't have in Phakding. The trekking had a lot of ups and downs....but with focus and a good pace, the hiking was always enjoyable and never became strenuous.
Our porter, Mingma Sherpa was also great. Thank you Mingma for helping us with our trek!!! Mingma and Kumar worked together to make sure we had anything we needed in the tea houses and on the trek. They were a great team!
This was a trip of a lifetime that was made even more amazing by an incredible company, guide, and porter. There are thousands of guide companies in Nepal....If you are searching for a tour company.....your best choice will be to use Adventure Nepal Eco Treks (Devi Baral) and Kumar!
Everest Base Camp and Cho La Pass Trek
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
I went with a group of 6 experienced hikers but inexperienced at high altitudes and we were eager but aware of the potential risks. Fortunately our guide Kuma Khadka, who was assigned us through Adventure Nepal Eco Treks, was a fantastic addition to our group. Kumar, our guide, was experienced, thoughtful, and extremely flexible to provide us a safe and exciting trek. We went on the Everest Base Camp and Cho La Pass trek and had an amazing time. Hiking through the Himalayans was a once in a life time adventure, and this company, and especially our guide Kuma Khadka, made it a unforgettable experience that I would love to go again.
So let me break it down how awesome Kuma and Co. is... he made sure every night after dinner we had fresh apples and pears to eat(which makes an amazing dessert when eating trekking food.) It was my 28th birthday while we were trekking and Kuma went out of his way to have a cake made as a total surprise it was fantastic(especially given the fact it was at 16,500 feet). He bought fresh cucumbers and cabbage and made us fresh cucumber salad, I could go on and on...
We were a group that ages ranged from 55-24 and Kuma monitored each person's health and welfare as needed. As other people were sick from altitude exposure, Kuma kept our group healthy energized by knowing how to expose and adjust us to the harsh landscape of the Himalayans.
I honestly cannot say enough about what a fantastic job Kuma Khadka did for our trek. Adventure Nepal Eco Treks did a great job at getting us through Katmandu and into the mountains. Rides were organized to and from the airport, breakfast provided and delicious, and the hotel was fantastic.
If you are thinking of making a trip to the Himalayans for some trekking, you will not regret using this company, and especially Kuma Khadka as a guide. Every person in my group would vouch for them, 100% satisfied.

My father and I competed the Everest Base Camp trek last year, we came across Adventure Nepal Eco Treks after doing some research online and were not disappointed. From we arrived in Kathmandu the company was highly professional and attentive. Devi runs a great business. Our guide, Arjun, was excellent. His knowledge of the landscape and his ability to effortlessly assess situations and capabilities helped everything to run smoothly. Arjun is exceptionally skilled and a genuinely great guy and the same can be said of our porter Chandra. They were a pleasure to spend time with we have remained in contact for the past year getting regular updates about treks and happenings in Nepal. My father and I agree that the trip could not have been any better and we definitely made the correct decision to travel with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks.
Annapurna Thorung Pass Trek - Fantastic Adventure
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
My partner and I had a wedding in Delhi, India to attend and decided to do a 2 week trek in Nepal of the Annapurna region. After some research and talking to friends we found this tour company and could not recommend a better company to use for trekking in Nepal. Our guide Kumar was exceptional and very attentive, he even taught me how to propose to my now fiancee in nepalese! Luckily the ring translated the question for me.
The trip was very enjoyable and at no point did we feel pushed beyond our abilities, it almost felt too easy even at 5400m crossing the pass. We also had other travelers comment on how good our guide Kumar and Porter Som where.
If you are considering trekking in Nepal, we highly recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and suggest asking for Kumar, although i'm sure their other guides are just as good.

Well organized tour from day 1 arrival to the last day. Hassle free. Get all necessary info from Mr. Devi Baral before leaving through whatsapp or email.

I and my husband did a hiking trip from Everest base camp trek in September 2016. It was very easy to book 12 days Everest base camp trek. We had great views of Everest from Namche bazaar and upper part of the walking trail. The tea house was very simple but neat and clean. A good driver with a modern car took us from Kathmandu airport to hotel and after Everest base camp trek went to Nagarkot over night there because getting relax after trek. Our guide Arjun was a perfectly professional and friendly guide who not only guided us from Everest base camp trek to Nagarkot but also knew a lot of things about the way of life in the area, agriculture, culture etc. With all this knowledge, his positive attitude and a very good level of English we definitely got the best out of this trip. We strongly recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and especially this perfect guide Arjun for anyone who wants to do a short (or longer) hiking trip in Nepal!
Adventure Nepal Eco Treks 2015 May
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
Myself and my eldest son fulfilled a lifetime ambition by trekking to Mount Everest in April 2015.After a lot of research we signed up with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and were not disappointed. The company is owned by Devi Baral and from our first contact until the end of our trip our experience was fantastic.Everything was taken care of for us with the minimum of fuss and any query was sorted out quickly and efficiently. Devi had just opened a small hotel in Thamel Kathmandu to facilitate his clients. The hotel was very clean with great food and good showers (a necessary luxury) and very central to all Kathmandu Attractions. Night or day Devi was on hand to help us and even came with me to a cash point that had kept my card. He rang a few numbers, got cross and within an hour i had my card returned. I will review our trip in a further review but i can easily recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks to all. We intend to return to this beautiful country again as a way of helping them rebuild after the Earthquake Tragedy. I will definitely use Devi and his company and i advise anyone thinking of trekking in Nepal to do the same. We were in Nepal from the 3rd - 21st April 2015.
A bad situation turned into a great experience, all because of picking the right tour operator
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
My friend and I came to Kathmandu without contacting any tour guide/operator before hand. Our trip started with getting bumped off our flight to Kathmandu because of the fuel situation at KTM. We showed up at the hotel around 1am without our trekking luggage (shoes, sleeping bag, water bottles, etc.). On top of that, I lost my wallet at the cab while looking for the hotel in Thamel. we had planned 12 days for Khumbu region, but due to the delay of arrival, we had only 11 days and we didn't even have a tour guide. The front desk suggested me to talk with the owner of the hotel about my lost wallet in the morning.
In the morning, I woke up early and worried about the whole situation. I went downstairs and saw a gentleman in suit. I figured he must be the owner. He introduced himself as Devi. I spoke to him about my situation. He made some suggestion about filing a report with the police. Then I asked: " Do you know any trekking company that you would recommend?" He said with a smile: " I do. I own a trekking company. We have good reviews on tripadvisor. We have done many tours." I was skeptical but asked a few questions about cost of guide, porter etc. It sounded like what we had researched. So I spoke with my friend and went to Devi's office together.
Due to the reason mentioned above, we could not do a full guided tour. So Devi worked with our budget and time, helped us to work out an itinerary. The whole process took less than half an hour. Devi was a smart business man, but also a fair one. By 10:30, We came to terms and decided to fly up to Lukla the next day despite the fact that we didn't even have our trekking gear.
After our friend put down a small deposit, we decided to walk around Kathmandu a bit. Devi told us that we would meet our guide in a few hours. We talked about backup plan such as renting gears (shoes, sleeping bags, down jackets etc). Devi took us to the store. We tried out a few things then left to walk around. Later we decided to try our luck and went to the airport to look for our luggage. Fortunately, our duffle bag showed up at the conveyor belt shortly after we got to the baggage claim area. We were in business. We took the cab back to the hotel with lighter mood. Finally things started to work in our favor.
Back to the hotel, we met our guide Arjun then we all went to Devi's office to finalize the trip arrangement, flight to Lukla, payment and discussion of itinerary. Then I mentioned about my lost wallet and my attempt to find the tourist police office in Thamel/Kathmandu. Arjun decided to take me to the tourist police himself. It was the beginning of an important holiday in Nepal. So we went to two local tourist police offices, both were closed. Arjun took me to the headquarter by foot. We walked about half an hour and got to the tourist police headquarter. (I could have never found it by myself) He helped me to explain my situation to the police on duty who did out speak much English, went out to make copy of my passport, which I would not have known where and how and got a receipt for my report and explained to me about the process at the mean time. We returned to the hotel an hour later. (He even paid for my bus fare on our way back).
The next day, we woke up at 5am and got to the airport. Arjun arranged everything and we arrived at Lukla without much events.
The trek started fine and went well till the sixth day, at Dingboche. My friend got ill and could not go further. We decided that he walked down with the porter, and I went on with our guide Arjun. We packed both of our stuffs into one backpack and Arjun said to me: " You don't have to carry anything. Give me your camera bag too." I felt bad that he carried everything and tried to take some share. He was determined to carry the load all by himself so I could walk better. We went on to Lobuche on the sixth day, and went to Gorkasep and went up to Kala Patther to have a view at Mt. , fulfilled the dream that I had 15 years ago (checked that off the top of my bucket list) and returned to Lobuche. The eighth day was my friend's birthday. He was back at Namche. I wanted to celebrate his birthday with him. So we started early from Lobuche. I was tired and walked slower. At Periche, Arjun got me a trekking pole to help me walking.
After Tengboche, I was out of gas and walked very slow. I had a bad left ankle and not surprisingly it swelled up. Every step down the rocky stony steps was a challenge. On top of that, I have acrophobia, since I was a little kid. So walking next to the edge of the mountain 3800m high was not the more pleasant experience. Somehow, we made it back to Namche around 7pm at night., while Arjun carried all the load the whole trip. I was just walking with trekking pole, carrying nothing Arjun had to hold my hand while walking down the steep Namche steps. We celebrated my friend's birthday with a chocolate cake and Arjun and the hotel owner gave him birthday gifts. I wouldn't have made it without the encouragement and assistance of Arjun. I could barely move by the time I reached the hotel.
My friend wanted to go for Lukla the next day and left one day ahead of our schedule. I could understand his situation (being trapped at Namche for three days). So I didn't debate and agreed to leave the next morning, hoping that my legs would recover with one night rest and some ointment applied on my ankle. And I also had a small blister on my right toe.
On the ninth day, we trekked down from Namche to Lukla. It was supposed to be a short trip, 6 hours tops.... but it took us almost 10 hours, because me. I could barely move. Despite the fact that Arjun carried my backpack, my water bottles, my camera and camera bag with two additional lenses, I was dragging my feet. My friend took off shortly after we left Namche. I was using two trekking pole to support and help to walk. Most of the time, while walking down on stone steps, Arjun had to hold my left hand while holding one of my trekking pole, we talked together one step down at a time. At many points on the way, I said to myself: " first kit, I am not going to walk any more. I am going to stay here."
About an hour out of Lukla, it started drizzling, and got dark. Arjun lent me his knockoff head lamp which only illuminated about three feet ahead. The road got slippery and was harder for me because now it was uphill climb. I slipped and fell on my butt a few times. Arjun was there, helped me up, led me on. And I had made it back to Lukla after 10 to 11 hour walking...
I had never expected so much hurdles and difficulties. Somehow, I had done it, a trek that normally takes 12 days, in 9 days. I don't think I could have done it without my guide Arjun. I am glad that I had stayed at Hotel Holiday House, where I had met Devi, who had hired Arjun who had helped me tremendously in realizing my dream of seeing Mt. Everest.
If you are reading this while looking for tour operator in Kathmandu, get Devi Baral You will be in good hands.
Namaste.
Life time memory! Unforgettable holiday 2018
Nepal
15th Mar, 2022
The Khopra danda trekking was excellent all things going well with guide, porter, food, very basic simple accommodation during trek but we had neat and clean common room. When I think of all the things we did while in Kathmandu, the images from this trekking are the ones I remember first. Walking the streets and taking a local "bus taxi", took us out of our comfort zone and gave us an incredible insight to what a day in the life of a local is. Pashupatinath Temple with the Sadhu monks and the cremations across Baghmati River, are both unforgettable visions. Because it was a holiday, there was lots of activity at the Bodhnath Stupak. No matter where you looked it was a scene worthy of a postcard. High recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks.
