Amazing Trek to Pikey Peak

We had an amazing time on our trek with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks.
They were recommended to us by our guest house and the company owner Mr Devi arrived promptly to speak to us about potential options. Within hours everything was arranged and he was super flexible to our needs, even adding in a surprise airport pick up we had to do.

After seeing a lot of videos and recommendations about trekking routes in Nepal we found Devi. He was highly rated and with a variety of positive comments, not only about him but his whole team.
We sent him several emails with our questions, suggestions, details of time disposition and of course our decision about the route. He, based on the time we had suggested Mardi Himal which is described in YouTube and other places as "the hidden gem of the Himalayas"
Devi and his team, Pancha the tour guide and Thir the porter were outstanding in every single aspect of our trip.
Devi: His logistics are flawless! Transportation, accommodation, flights, communication, kindness. He is onto everything. (Without any prior payment he responded to every single email)
Pancha: He has been in these trails for quite long, originally from Everest region and living in kathmandu for a while being a guide for more than half his life. He was everyday ready to provide everysingle thing we needed from every meal to the zip of water for our tooth brushes, got us extra blankets, hot water for showers, trying to please our food needs, during trails assisting, chatting, you name it! Was his intention not to make you move a finger while we were resting.
Thir: The porter, what a strong dude! He doesn't speak much of English but he carried 20 kg on his back with a smile on his face. As well ready to help at any time. Thir is Nepalese skinny Thor!
The trekking: it was set for 6 days and not expecting rain yet. Bummer, monsoons got earlier this year!
We were picked up by Pancha and Thir at the airport ready for the trek, drove almost 40 min until the starting line and from we started such an amazing experience. It was my wife's suggestion not to tell you the details so you can discover it for yourselves. So I will only say this, unless you are certain of warm weather bring winter gear with you, sleeping bags, silver bags, snow gloves, flashlights, towels, solar batteries ( there is 2 kind, .. one is like a spare battery and the other one works line a solar panel .. bring both) rain poncho, rain covers for the backpacks, water purifiers, flipflaps to take showers. Probably you are gonna laugh but I took my iPad loaded with movies... you spend long time in camps without much to do, some nights were long due to the storms so those movies helped a lot! Any question feel free to shoot a DM! Enjoy your trekking, be safe!! Always go with a guide!!!!! You might find lots of people saying not to but is safer ... people get lost, injured etc.

My son and I just returned from the trek to EBC and without doubt a real test on one's endurance and strength. It was a absolute pleasure dealing with Devi Baral and everything was arranged online without any fuss and enjoyed the fact Devi Baral himself was at the airport to pick us up.
Thanks Ramesh Bhatta who is a very informative and helpful guide the trek was an amazing experience.Ramesh Bhatta's knowledge of the trails,the teahouse and even the right diet helped us a great deal on the trek.

This is my 2nd time joining Adventure Nepal Eco Treks after our EBC trek as the boss Mr. Devi is very helpful and to accommodate our request and respond very fast on our query and never disappoint us as they really expert in organised trekking trip.
Mr. Kumar our HERO guide and Mr. Som and Mingma (porter) which make the trip full of fun, adventure and memorable. Mr. Kumar is patient, knowledgeable and helpful and after each meal will provide us seasonal fruits which other tour do not offer this.
We will surely planning another trek with Adventure Nepal Eco again maybe October to Pikey.

We had an amazing time on our trek with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks.
They were recommended to us by our guest house and the company owner Mr Devi arrived promptly to speak to us about potential options. Within hours everything was arranged and he was super flexible to our needs, even adding in a surprise airport pick up we had to do.
The trek itself was superb, Piky is one of the less popular treks in this region but with views of Everest every day and amazing scenery along the way it won't remain undiscovered for long.
We were also very lucky to have our amazing guide Kumar. Across the 4 days he was attentive to our every need, organising our accommodation (which was always at a fair price) and showing us the way to Piky. Not only is Kumar helpful but he is also kind, funny and generous, arranging for us to stay with his brother on our final night. To top all this he is a great cook and a mean card player.
I could not recommend this company and guide more. A well priced trek with superb staff.
Unforgettable Sunrise at Pikey Peak

Over the New Year period 2017/8, we completed an amazing 6-day trek to Pikey Peak - Sir Edmund Hilary's favourite view of Everest. The highlight was watching the sunrise over the Himalayas on New Year's Day - it was truly beautiful. This trek was off the beaten track - in the 6 days, we only saw two other groups of tourists, so we felt like we could really appreciate the stunning surroundings. With crystal blue skies every day we were spoiled for views of the Himalayas. The hike offered us a good level of challenge. We walked for 7-8 hours on the first day, and 4-5 hours on the following days.
Our guide Kumar was brilliant. He was organised, patient with us when we need extra time on the hills, and kind. On our final night, we even stayed with his family, where he showed us great generosity. He was knowledgeable about the local area and we could not have done this trek without him as many of the tea-house owners did not speak English. He was also brilliant at cards and kept beating us all! He made the trip amazing. If possible, request Kumar to lead your trek.
Our accommodation was basic, but did the tea-house owners were friendly and the food was good trekking fuel. Eating simple dahl-baht every day was a good post-Christmas detox for us all! Our transport was good, but be aware, it is an 8 hour drive from Kathmandu to the start/end points of the Pikey-Peak trek.
Thanks to Kumar and to Adventure Nepal Eco Treks - we've already started thinking about when we can come back.

I have just finished my 09 days ABC trekking. I really enjoyed my trip. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Devi - who organized my trip. Especially, there is no words to say about Mr Ramesh - my tour guide. He is attentive, friendly, informative , kind, he got a good sense of humour. He looked after me the whole trip. Without Ramesh, I wouldn't have the best time in Nepal and the memorable experiences in trekking. I would like to recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks to everyone. Ramesh will.be your best tour guide on your trip. I will be back to Nepal to do another trekking.

Everest Best Camp Trek with Tilak (The best guide ever) 2018

I finished EBC trek last month and just got time to review. I went trekking with Devi's company twice. first my ABC trek, with our guide Tilak, he is very very helpful and fun to be with. so my 2nd trek to Everest Base camp, I requested Tilak as our guide again. this time i had an high altitude sickness on the way down from Preriche, Tilak carried me down til i got to the lodge. He managed everything for us til i got to Ktm. Every time we got da problem Tilak always say " no worries I am here i will help you with everything" I am very impressed. he is the most helpful person i ever met. I will definitely be back to Nepal to do another trek. Thanks Devi to send the best guide ever for my trip

The team at Nepal Eco Treks were the absolute best (Devi the tour manager, Kumar the guide). My sister used this company a few years prior I can can they still have the same professionalism. I went with a good mate and we also had a fantastic porter.
From day one on the trek, Kumar made sure that everything was catered for to ensure our experiences were enjoyable. We even had others commenting and wishing that their guide was as good as Kumar.
Even though plans changed due to weather, Devi and Kumar both took this in their stride and made the changes in a quick, prompt and professional manner.
Kumar and Devis knowledge of English is worldclass which means there isn't anything lost in translation.
These guys made the trip to ensure it was; as comfortable as possible, as friendly as possible and that we enjoyed ourselves which we did.
Take note: If you're quick like us, take some cards as Kumar is really enjoyable to play with.

Devi Baral arranged all of the logistics for us, very painlessly and our allocated guide was Kumar. We struck gold on that score!
From start to finish Kumar made sure that we had the best experience possible. His friendly personality and great sense of humour ensured that we were all in high spirits throughout our trek to Kalar Pathar Everest base camp and High pass trek. He consistently assessed our pace and acclimatization and was able to adjust our itinerary accordingly, we were a quicker than average so put in some epic days!
I would highly recommend booking a trek with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and if you can, request Kumar. You won't regret it.
Tsum Valley Trek - October 2018 INCREDIBLE !

We returned to Nepal in October 2018 five years after our first visit to Mustang with Adventure Nepal Eco Treks in 2013. Following the success we had in 2013 at Mustang, we chose Devi Baral to organize our trek and we asked Kumar to be our guide.
In 2018 we visited and trekked the Tsum Valley. With our porter, Buddhi, we had a perfect team of 5 people. Kumar and Buddhi made all the logistics of tea houses and food very simple for us so we could concentrate on the beauty of the surrounding mountains and villages. Each morning we would coordinate with Kumar and Buddhi to adjust our trek depending how we felt and what special activities were available at each village. We visited numerous monasteries, and we were able to attend a few puja ceremonies. We also summitted a 5,000 meter peak at Mu Gompa and did a day trip to Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Devi even coordinated to have a helicopter pick us up on the final day at Philim when the government shut down helicopter service for tourism. Devi was a passenger on the helicopter up to Philim to confirm our pick-up!
Our stay in Kathmandu was also special at the Classic Nepal Hotel. The staff at the hotel was excellent and breakfast on the terrace was special. Make sure you wake up at 2AM at the Classic Nepal Hotel. In the middle of the night there is complete silence in the middle of a city of over one million people. I do not know how silence like that that happens in such a large city.
We hope to return to Nepal in the very near future, and Devi and Kumar will be the first people we contact to make our trip easy, fun, and enjoyable. You should too....

Two weeks of happiness. Adventure walk. Amazing view of Nepal Himalaya and friendly local people. The Tsum valley is preserved of the great tourist flow and less trekkers in the region. The first part is on the Manaslu trail through Tamang villages,Mager, Gurung and their mix cuiture. On the windy plateau you cross yaks and tibetan flags. Surrounded by the Ganesh himal ranges. We had wonderful trip and lifetime memory. We had a wonderful time with best guide Tilak and strong porter som and hari. We were group of 4 from France,and first time we went to langtang Gosaikunda trek for 10 days.This is our second time trekking with Adventure Nepal Eco Trek.
