Fortunately our guide Kumar Khadka, who was assigned us through Adventure Nepal Eco Treks, was a fantastic addition to our group. Kumar, our guide, was experienced, thoughtful, and extremely flexible to provide us a safe and exciting trek.

Me and my husband did a hiking trip from Dhulikhel to Nagarkot in October 2016. It was very easy to book and a good driver with a modern car took us from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel and from Nagarkot to Kathmandu. Our guide Kumar was a perfectly professional and friendly guide who not only guided us from Dhulikhel to Nagarkot but also knew a lot of things about the way of life in the area, agriculture, culture etc. With all this knowledge, his positive attitude and a very good level of English we definitely got the best out of this trip. We strongly recommend Adventure Nepal Eco Treks and especially this perfect guide Kumar for anyone who wants to do a short (or longer) hiking trip in Nepal!

If you are searching for a tour company in Nepal, your search can stop here! My wife and I visited in February of 2017 and completed the Everest panorama View Trek. Devi was amazing to work with......he was patient, responsive, and incredibly helpful for over 2 years as we communicated back and forth to plan our adventure. The trip was planned out flawlessly. From the pick up at the airport to the trek itself.....everything was taken care of and went very smoothly. Devi's hotel is very nice and is in the heart of Thamel. Thamel is a great place to be with plenty of shops, dining, and sight seeing....most everything is in walking distance! Devi was very welcoming and was there throughout our stay to help with anything that was needed.
Our Everest view trek lasted 6 amazing days and was an adventure of a lifetime. Our guide, Kumar Khadka, was the best guide we could have possibly had. He made the trip even more special then it already was. Our trip started with a flight into Lukla on Goma Air. Devi, booked us on Goma Air which was an excellent choice in airline. For those of you that are nervous about the flight into Lukla, Goma air has new airplanes. We were very thankful that Devi used Goma air....especially when we saw some of the other airlines planes. (this alone would be a compelling reason to go with Nepal Eco Trekking) We felt completely safe during our flights!!!!! Also, do not hesitate to visit Nepal in February. It got a little chilly at night, but during the day we were in t-shirts. There are barely any crowds in February, which meant the flights weren't over booked, we had tea houses to ourselves, and the trails were empty. We had the whole park to ourselves. The skies were blue and we had mind numbing views of the Himalaya.
Kumar was AMAZING through out our trip. We had a ton of fun getting to know Kumar and he was very attentive throughout our entire trip. He showed us the sights, taught us some Nepali, and was always making sure we were comfortable. We saw other trekkers that had "guides" that would basically disappear once they reached their destination for the day. Kumar was attentive to us from the moment we got up to when we turned in for the night. The tea houses that we stayed in were all very nice. There are many teahouses along the trek, but I felt that we always stayed at the nicest ones. Also, Kumar's itinerary for the trek was great! Rather then stay in Phakding for the first night of the trek, we continued on to Benkar....which made the next day quite easier AND Benkar has beautiful views of the Mountains and River....which you don't have in Phakding. The trekking had a lot of ups and downs....but with focus and a good pace, the hiking was always enjoyable and never became strenuous.
Our porter, Mingma Sherpa was also great. Thank you Mingma for helping us with our trek!!! Mingma and Kumar worked together to make sure we had anything we needed in the tea houses and on the trek. They were a great team!
This was a trip of a lifetime that was made even more amazing by an incredible company, guide, and porter. There are thousands of guide companies in Nepal....If you are searching for a tour company.....your best choice will be to use Adventure Nepal Eco Treks (Devi) and Kumar!
Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek for 5 days

We just completed a trekking to Ghorepani- Poon Hill-Ghandruk , since the very beginning Mr. Devi Baral is very helpful and easily contactable.
I found his company via reviews of Trip Advisor and then contacted him month ago to finalize the trip, we communicate through phone - whatsapps and email , he helped us to arrange the program and all details about it.
What surprised us, when we finally agreed about the program, Mr. Devi only asked our copy of passport and air tickets, no down payment or whatever payment in advance was asked !
When we arrived Kathmandu, we were a bit nervous but when we finally exit the airport, Mr. Devi was there with big smile picked us up from the airport to take us to the hotel in Thamel area Kathmandu. We settle the full payment in his cozy office and he explained again to us about details of the trip. Hotel he chose for us in Thamel was excellent : Nepal Access.
When we arrived Pokhara in the next day, we met with our guide and porter : Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Som . They were waiting for us from the morning when we arrived late delayed for 3 hours due to weather problem.
Mr. Ramesh a young humble Nepalese , really a good guys and speaks English very well . We travelled to Nanjapol and then hiked together to Ghorepani - Poon Hill and Ghandruk. He always smile and make sure our needs were covered, extra blankets were given when my mate had a fever during the trip and he made sure all are OK. Mr. Ramesh is really a good guide , and patience and also very knowledgeable about the trek and always in a good spirit, that really motivated us during the trip.
Mr. Som our porter is a type of a porter that whenever you needs, he always there.
He is not kind of a porter who will walk fast ahead while his clients are behind.
He always walk side by side with us together and also with Ramesh too.
They are really a good duo !!!
During the trip, we met his colleague (other guide) who was with another clients : Mr. Kumar , so along the road we always bumped to each other and had a good laugh together every night.
When we arrived the lodges, Som also make sure if we are OK and always ready with hot tea or whatever we needs.
Incredible experience with them, in our last day we even discussed next trip to Nepal with them.
This company ran by Mr. Devi is really super on how to service their clients , and they have the best guides probably , in my experience.

“Amazing Trek to Annapurna Base Camp”

This trek was truly a life changing experience - right from the start until the very end. Throughout the trip Devi at Adventure Nepal Eco Treks provided us with a first class service which really did make the difference. We (x2) arrived in Kathmandu without a trek booked as the trip was a last minute decision and we felt better deals could be found if we arranged ourselves. However, once in Kathmandu it becomes difficult to distinguish between the good and bad amongst the many operators touting for business.
In the end I opted to go and see three different companies based upon their reviews and suitably for a flexible trip (we had planned to do both circuit 1 and 2). Of the three I can definitely say that the honest and truthful approach provided by Devi made all the difference - he actually advised us against doing the 2nd circuit as it had changed so much...we should have listened to him! He also had lots of other useful information and above all I found him very genuine, which cannot be said for others.
We agreed a fair price for a guide and porter and enjoyed a memorable trek that we were able to undertake at our own pace, which was important to us as first time trekkers. We initially paid for 21 days to do the full circuit but with aching limbs and a face full of car fumes on the 2nd part, we soon decided to cut it short. Devi completely understood and agreed to give us a refund for the days we didn't use. This was really exceptional service and I do not believe any other operator would have done this.
I should also point out that we both fell sick before starting the trek and Devi allowed us to delay starting until we were 100% better, again with no cost.
Overall, I would recommend anybody to do this trek as the experience is unforgettable! With Devi on your side you are able to tailor your requirements to suit needs!

I have just finished my 10 days ABC trekking. I really enjoyed my trip. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Devi - who organized my trip. Especially, there is no words to say about Mr Ramesh - my tour guide. He is attentive, friendly, informative , kind, he got a good sense of humor. He looked after me the whole trip. This was a good choice as Devi responded quickly with excellent detailed answers to all our questions. Then from arrival our guide Kumar and Devi were brilliant. Taxis and travel were all organised well, help with renting equipment etc. From then on we were spoilt by our guide Kumar and Som our porter, both went above and beyond as it was the off season. They cooked washed veg and made us feel so safe and well looked after.
Overall without going into huge detail. The company was great the Guide and Porter were way better than we ever could have imagined.

My time in Nepal wouldn't have been the experience it was, if it wasn't for the people I met along the way!
Devi was amazing with responding to emails and arranging everything for us.
Kumar our guide went above and beyond. Throughout these reviews you can see one prominent factor and it is Kumar he deserves all the positive reviews and more!
He really goes above and beyond as a guide and is someone that you can really become friends with.
If you are reading these reviews, stop. Take the leap of faith, because it is what I did and knowing how lucky I got, I would do it again and again with these guys!

In Nov/Dec 2014 we had a wonderful trek to ABC arranged by Devi Baral, head of Adventure Nepal Eco Treks. At that time everything went so well, and we wanted to go back to Nepal. We are a couple from Norway 72 and 74 years of age. We ended up choosing Langtang as the trek of this year.
