Tamang Heritage trekking is a place where one wants to go. It is a distant from Kathmandu located in a place where marvelous combination of indigenous artistry and culturally rich region of Langtang Rasuwa connected by road. This region present a life full of unfold beauty and unique intimacy. The undetermined area of the Langtang National Park, which was once considered as the prohibited area near the Tibet border, has just been fostered into Tamang heritage track. This new Tamang heritage trekking provides glance at the Himalaya behavior and civilization. The trail holds you to fresh heartland of Nepal observing the beauty of the mountain region and the civilization of the people who stay there. The trail moves along the traditional Tamang village where life style, culture and arts have remain the same from the starting of the arrangement pleasant traditional welcome presented by the local people. They intricate their costumes, well-off architecture of their mountain house, the old monasteries and area of benediction add charming appearance to the intimacy of this trek. In addition to cultural intimacy, the trek also provides wilderness intimacy through delightful landscape of snow capped area with wide grassland and rhododendron forest.
Tamang Heritage trekking path begins from sayabrubesis and passes through Goljung, Gatlang, Chilime, Tatopani, and Nagthali, Taruche, Thurman, Timure and Briddim. This trek may end take back in sayabrubesis or go next to the Langtang trek from Briddim village. Goljung and Gatlang is ancestral Tamang village and has old monastery. You can have a spectacular view of Langtang, Kerung Sanjen Himal and Ganesh Himal from Ghale durbar. Gatlang has a hillock grassland, monastery and alluring pravatikunda lake, Nagkunda, Jasurekunda Lake at Gatlang. Bathing in the hot water of the indigenous hot spring at Tatopani cures skin disease. Crossing the path from Gatlang to Chilime is breathtaking intimacy.
From Tribhuban International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will invite to visit our office for briefing about the each day program. Today you will receive your Langtang National park Permits and TIMS.
Early morning after having breakfast transfer your Bus station to start your journey towards Sayabrubesis, along the bus journey you will drive through beautiful village and you will see snow Scapped Mountain along the langtang Himalaya and it will make your trekking become pleasant and touch your heart.
The trail leads you from Sayabrubesis to shortcuts heading west that avoid the huge looping switchbacks of the road. The steep trail gains 720m to two houses and viewpoint a 15 minute tour at Bahun danda pass Rongga Bhanjyang; (2180m). You can see the village of Gotlang below. If the uphill seems too much like hard work consider jumping on the afternoon Local Bus that comes through sayabrubesis to Thambuchet between 3pm and 5pm. Along the upper part of the road for couples of hours to lovely traditional village of Gotlang(2240m), the largest Tamang settlement in the area. From here you can make 45 minute day tour uphill to peaceful Parvati Kaunda Lake and its nearby Gompa, where you will accommodate tonight.
After morning in Gotlang follow the delightful line stone Chorten down the valley, branching left after an hour to drop down and eventually cross the river before Chili me village (1760m). At the far end of Chili me cross the river on the suspension bridge and climb uphill steeply past lodges at Cherka and Gong gang (2230m) and arrive in Tatopani, where you can accommodate to night.
After morning breakfast in Nagthalighyang keeping eye on the trail (trail- finding) can be tricky on this initial section as you climb uphill 560m via the settlement and Gompa of Brimdang to the ridge top meadow of Nagthalighyang(three hours;3165m. in clear weather there are great views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Paldor Peak and Saljung Himal. It well worth making the three hours return walk along the rhododendron cloaked ridge to the lovely viewpoint at Taruche (3700m) and you will accommodate tonight here.
If you didn’t make yesterday start off with an early morning uphill hike to Taruche viewpoint for the clearest views of Tamang heritage Himalaya of Nepal. From Nagthalighyang descend steeply for 820m through forest to the pleasant Tamang village of Thuman take right 10 minute after leaving Nagthalighyang. Thuman has small Gompa and beautiful lodges are available overnight stay.
After morning breakfast in Thuman Follow the ridge northeast traversing a rocky hillside then descend 640m steeply via Dalphedi to cross the Bhotekoshi River 2 and half hour. From here hike north along the new road for 40 minutes to arrive Timure(1760m), from Timure 45 minutes side trip on foot along the new Chinese build road to the Tibet border and the ruins of Rasuwagadi fort built in 1912. Overnight at Timure village.
After morning breakfast in Timure follow the road downstream for an hour to an easy missed footpath branching left up to Lingling, where food and charming lodging is available at the traditional Lingling homestad. From Lingling its two hours 400m ascent via the pelok view restaurant to Briddim, a scenic Tamang village decorated with colorful Gompa Over the town and where you will accommodate tonight here.
After morning breakfast make quick side trip around Briddim village, visit Gompa, Chorten and trail slightly downhill through pine forest to Sayabrubesis 2 and half hour to arrive sayabrubesis and overnight for following day drive back to Kathmandu with public transport.
After quick morning breakfast in sayabrubesis hold Local Bus to drive back to Kathmandu via Dhunche, Ramche and Trisuli bazaar. There are fine views of the langtang Himalaya, which you can see from your Bus and arrive in Kathmandu, transfer your hotel. Evening celebrate your trekking with Nepali Family
